What an unexpected gem called Brazi’s Italian restaurant located in New Haven CT directly off I-95. I recently held my birthday celebration (luncheon) and everything was exceptional . From creating the reservation for my birthday to the actual celebration. The restaurant host was welcoming, explained everything in detail and patient because my guest came from Boston, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and Philadelphia and arrival time were impacted by traffic and traveling. The food was delicious and price was awesome. I had the best Mango martini ever. Thank you for making my birthday celebration special.♥️

Excellent atmosphere, great service and delicious Italian food. I loved Brazi’s eggplant topped chicken Parmesan. Perfect idea, now I no longer have to choose a favorite, I can get both entrees in one dish! I also love the soup here and the complementary pizza bread.

I’m not a big Italian food person so when I go to an Italian restaurant that I don’t go to often and don’t have a go to item, I usually go pretty basic which is the case for me at brazi’s. A lot of people I know absolutely love this place and it isn’t bad. I got the chicken parmigiana and not only was it very tasty and their sauce pretty good but the chicken was actually crispy which I really appreciate. Kids got pizzas which were good, the gf got some kind of calamari which want bad but I prefer it fried. The rest of the fam got other things I don’t remember the name to so I’ll finish with this: Gabrielle’s in orange is my favorite Italian spot but Brazi’s is a close second.

This restaurant is amazing! I went here for dinner with a friend and we enjoyed everything from the appetizer to our entrees. I highly recommend the Garlic Bread with Cheese, and the Shrimp Parmigiana or Chicken Parmigiana!! So yummy! Marisa our waitress, was also amazing always checking in, and making the experience even better! Highly Recommend!!!

Brazi’s years ago used to be the place to be for any celebration. The vibe was perfect, with soft lighting and mood setting music. The flavors felt authentic and the quality of service was very high.
Brazi’s today just wasn’t even close to the standard they’ve set for me in years past. The entire feel of the restraunt just felt off. The waitress was extremely kind, but it took over an hour for bread to hit the table and we weren’t attended all that often outside of our initial drink and food orders. There wasn’t a ton of people here tonight, but the food still took over an hour to get to us. The worst of it was knowing the dishes were pretty mistimed. The fish wasn’t very cooked, whereas the pasta was clearly done significantly earlier than the rest of the dishes. Half the table was served and the other half took approximately 5 more minutes. While the chicken parm was spot on, just as it has in years past, the rest of this meal was a let down.
If you haven’t been to Brazi’s in the last 5 years, I’d say keep the memories of how good it was and save your trip.

First visit and the food was delicious…from the appetizer, the main dishes Veal Marsala and Chicken Brasi, and ended with the Rustic Apple Tart dessert…will definitely go back to this Italian restaurant

On Saturday evening, our children hosted a dinner for us at Brazi’s in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. We were joined by numerous friends and family for a delightful evening.
Beyond the excellent company, the service, cuisine, and ambiance were exceptional. Our waitstaff and servers demonstrated attentiveness and responsiveness to all our requests. The meals were superb; it is commendable to serve 20 meals promptly with 15 plates cleared. Some of our senior guests utilized take-home containers. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and a memorable anniversary celebration.

Haven’t been since 2020 but the food was phenomenal! Combination platter was perfect for a trying a little of everything. If i recall it had lasagna, eggplant, tortellini, and ravioli. Everything was delicious including their own version of lemoncello. We loved it so much we purchased a few bottles to take back home. I do not recall the name of the seafood linguini dish but it was amazing!

Such a great seafood restaurant! I love the mozzarella appetizer! Shrimp & clam pescatore tastes awesome, the shrimps are really big! The seafood pizza is an absolute must have, this is my first seafood pizza, I will definitely come back for this. Clean and quiet environment, it takes a while for the food to come, but definitely worth the time. By the way, thank you to our waiter Alex, you are very helpful, nice service!
