8-20-25. Two of us dined at this fantastic spot on the lake in North Hero. Cecilia was our fabulous waitress. She was such a delightful young lady. I went with the fish N chips. I enjoyed. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Meh. We wanted this place to rate 5 stars but couldn’t find a way. What we liked: great location on the lake, plenty of parking, good background music, super nice staff at entry. The Not so good? Made the mistake of sitting at the bar and then moving to a table. That seemed to throw the serving staff off. Ordered med hamburger but came out raw. Took another 20 mins to fix that. Hardly visited by any waitstaff (never asked me for another drink). Sadly, Not great.

My friend and I were visiting Grand Isle and decided to grab a bite to eat at Bravo Zulu.

I ordered a Fish and Chips and my friends ordered a Caprese Wrap. The breading of the fish was wonderfully light and crispy and the fish itself was very tasty.

The Caprese Wrap was ample and flavorful. I drank a non-alcoholic drink, a Strawberry Pineapple Sparkler. My friend ordered a beer (Hazy IPA). We both enjoyed our drinks.

The service was excellent and the view of the lake was/is beautiful.

Bravo Zulu is worth visiting and I recommend that you do so!

We go up to Swanton, VT every year at least once or twice and have been looking for a place to eat like this and cannot believe we have overlooked this for years. We drove the boat over and stopped in after a morning of fishing and right from the moment we were parking the boat until we walked away after eating, we had amazing service. Start to finish, 5 stars! The dock hand was super friendly and helpful, the wait staff was very friendly & attentive, the manager even came over as he heard it was our first time there, the food was great, atmosphere was perfect and the music playlist was spot on (diverse and upbeat)! We were finishing up our food at closing time and never once felt rushed out. My husband got the fish and chips and said it was the best fish and chips he has ever eaten and he orders seafood all the time. 10/10 will be back!

We checked this place out by boat. Really liked they have dock space just for boaters to come up, we were greeted right away by a staff person who helped us dock and chatted with us. The environment here is awesome. Right on the water, nice open space, some outdoor games. I think they could expand their outdoor gaming area to include even more. The retractable roof over the seating area is impressive. We got there around 5 on a Wednesday, lots of staff and as the night went on it for relatively busy. Everyone was friendly. Drink selection is good and we had a couple cocktails in our group. One seemed more well made than the other. The Nipple seemed a little weak, the other was a tequila drink that was good. I had higher expectations for food. We had the nachos which had smaller chips, many broken chips. The toppings were tasty but would have liked to see more. The guacamole was alright and only get a small amount. Our meals were the burger, cubano, and poke bowl. All were good. Fries were good. I got bang bang sauce with the poke bowl and for 3$ would have liked larger amount, a little more “bang” to it would have been nice too. Pricing is decent for most meals, anything with seafood is pricier as expected. The tacos looked good but it’s only 2 tacos and I think for the price 3 would be better. Menu is smaller. Overall we had a good experience. Left before live music started but sounds like they have that often. (Was supposed to start at 6 from what we were told and hadn’t started by 640 when we left). I would eat here again but also might just consider going for drinks. Seems like a family friendly place and hope to go with our young kids soon. The location is definitely what makes this place great.

Amazing restaurant. I had the poke bowl which was delicious. Service and atmosphere are also very good. Their unsweetened ice tea is especially very good. I highly recommend if you are around. It also has amazing views of Lake Champlain that couldn’t be better.

I came here last summer and had a mixed experience. The service and atmosphere were stellar, but the burger I ordered was overcooked and very disappointing. I went back there this year and WOW, what a difference. The view is still amazing, the service spot on, but I had THE BEST CUBANO I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE THERE. When I was ordering, I was stuck between fish and chips and the Cubano. I asked the waitress and she recommended the latter, saying I wouldn’t be disappointed. She was not wrong. Seriously, I have never had a Cubano this perfectly constructed and flavorful, that includes several places I have visited in Key West. For the first half of the sandwich, I was almost in another world, everyone else at my table sounded like they were talking with way too much reverb. For the second half, I just kept thinking that it was going to end soon and dreading that moment. Luckily, I was stuffed to the gills after finishing though.

I also had a great conversation with the Manager, I believe his name was Daniel? He came over and asked us how the food was and I absolutely went off the rails raving about this sandwich. The story of how he got the recipe was very entertaining, definitely ask about it. Everyone else at our table loved their food as well, but you. Need. To. Try. This. Sandwich. My friends would agree, it’s all I talked about for the rest of the evening. Bravo Zulu knocked our whole night out of the park. By the way, the photo I attached is just half the sandwich so you could see the perfect stratification. I will be coming back here every time I visit my Mom in North Hero!

My friend and I ate lunch here today with her 2 year old daughter and the food and drinks were incredible, our waitress was so sweet and attentive. We met the manager who told us all about the events happening over the next couple of months. We drove over 50 minutes to come eat here, 100% worth it. Beautiful sunny day with a perfect view of the lake. We will be coming regularly now this summer!

We have driven by this place so many times and decided today would be the day! The location is fantastic and I love that you can come by boat or car- there is even a playground for the kiddos, and corn hole games set up…. With that being said, I’ve read the reviews here and I just need to be honest: it was just not it for us.

The staff was FANTASTIC. The food was sub par at best. The food is served in paper plates (bowls for the kids where you can’t even cut the food or let the fries cool off), I had the Caesar salad with shrimp and the shrimp was meh ( it was as if they took cocktail shrimp and placed it on top and called it good). The appetizers were okay more so because we were starving – the burger was okay.

The beetles and hornets/bees on the premises were a bit much. We went to play with the corn hole set up but there were so many bugs it was unbearable (maybe a pest treatment would be beneficial).

Overall the location/views/ staff were amazing but the food is a complete miss for us. This place has huge potential and after I shared my views with folks and everyone agreed I had to share a review.

We had a great time with our two dogs at Bravo Zulu for some food and fun. We have two Australian Shepards that love to travel with us and go to the water anywhere. Bravo Zulu has a great outdoor seating, access for boats and a shoreline for all to explore. Drinks were perfect and the wings tasted great.
