⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
Now that we’ve tried it, Braum’s lives up to the hype! The setup is a little unusual—grocery store, ordering area, and dining room are all separate ➡️ ➡️ ️—but it works surprisingly well.
They even have a double drive-thru (first I’ve seen at Braum’s!) and outdoor dining ☀️—perfect for families and groups.
The food? Amazing Ice cream, shakes , burgers , and fries all hit the spot. Friendly staff, clean space, and fun atmosphere . Braum’s is definitely a must-visit in Princeton!
It took approximately 9 minutes to get in the line and have my food in my car. I will say it was a little slower than expected. The food was warm enough for the most part, but I just didn’t really enjoy the cold cheese slice slapped inside my sandwich. It wasn’t melted in the least. The photo on the menu looked very different (obviously) and I would’ve enjoyed it more with the cheese slightly warm and melty.
The hash browns were okay, nothing to write home about. They were a little dry yet very greasy to the touch. The price of these items were not that bad considering there has been a considerate amount of inflation.
Overall it’s pretty much all the same as any other braum’s, when it comes to breakfast. I will come back and update with ice cream at another time.
The manager was very nice and handled the situation professionally — refunded my money and even offered me another sandwich, but honestly, I didn’t want it anymore after that. I hope this was just an opening-day mistake because the staff was great otherwise!
The market area is priced fair with a decent selection, we can run in and grab some fill in groceries and there is never a wait at the checkout and the employees are always personable. It’s a very convenient option to have, especially with Princeton still not having a true grocery store.
The food and ice cream counters usually have no wait and have always had an employee at the counter ready and waiting when walking up. Prices on both food and ice cream seem to be less than most comparable places, it’s nice to be able to take the family out and not feel like we’re breaking the bank. Our favorite part is how the ice cream line is separate from the food line! It’s so convenient when we just want to run in for a quick treat.
Overall a really wonderful addition to Princeton, we’re so happy to have them here and will continue to support them frequently!
This happened once before and I went back in and had to go through all kinds of issues to try to get a refund… At that time the meat packages had a so much off percent, but when I checked out I paid full price. I didn’t know I needed to watch pricing at that time so I just paid it and left but when I got home and found out …so I went back but I had to go through so much frustration and aggravation to get a refund. I was told it was my responsibility to pull this coupon thing off and show it to their person checking me out…(wait…what?) I was given the refund but it wasn’t a friendly refund.
Please bear in mind, I love to give positive positive reviews, but they can be on the negative side, most especially if I’m given negative treatment…
Inside the store, the experience was equally troubling. While several guests were standing at the front counter, an employee openly stated to another employee that he did not care who complained. Hearing this kind of remark in front of customers was uncomfortable and completely inappropriate. It gave the clear impression that customer concerns are not taken seriously at this location.
The overall atmosphere reflected poor management, lack of accountability, and inadequate staff training. Instead of feeling valued as a customer, I felt ignored and disrespected. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had at a Braum’s, and it has significantly affected my willingness to return. I hope upper management addresses these issues promptly to prevent similar experiences for future customers.
