You know it’s hard for me to give 5 stars but this was honestly really really close! I sought restaurants that served “escargot” and landed here. Parenthetically, there are only 5 establishments in the city that do. When I arrived for my 12:30 reservation there were a total of 5 people in the restaurant. I waited at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes I until someone came to ask me if I had a reservation…? Like if I had sd no perhaps he was going to sorry we can’t seat you? Anyway, he sat me and I’d already studied the menu so I was ready to order. The host, the waiter and the manager (who clearly spoke French and added to the experience!) all did a great job. The facility was clean, the music was French, not too loud and set the mood. The service was fast and the presentation was visually pleasing. If you’re looking for great meal in a quaint charming atmosphere check this out!

This place is cute and quiet and service was great. Our server, Angelica, was very nice and funny. She was knowledgeable about wines and provided us with a great experience. The food was very tasty and fresh. Everything was served fast, hot and to perfection. I would recommend this place over and over again. Parking was easy also due to them being in a plaza.

Went for the New Year’s Eve dinner with the prix fixe menu to celebrate my birthday. It’s thr 2nd year I’ve gone and I think we will make it a yearly tradition. Incredible food and drinks. Love that you still get options with the menu and everything was delicious. I’ve been for lunch, dinner, and wine dinners and I’ve always left extremely pleased with my experience.

They hosted our company Christmas party and it was a great experience! Guy was so helpful in the planning, and our waiters, Jeff and Gaylon, were very good. All the food was amazing and the honey glazed pork chop was one of the best bites I’ve had all year! Kudos to you, and thank you from everyone at The Marketing Squad!

My wife & I recently utilized a gift certificate for a recent lunch. It was our 1st time back in 15 years. Brassiere is one of the top 5 restaurants in the St Matthews/Middletown area. Exceptional food, Ambience & service are provided by this French restaurant. Prices are comparable to similar fine dining restaurants. We are scheduled to return on 8/19 and take advantage of their weekly dinner special

I want to thank Guy for giving us a great early Valentine’s dinner. He found a table for us at the last minute and even got us out quickly to catch a show. They were very busy, but he still found time to make us feel special. The food and drinks were great as always!

Superb dining every time. The atmosphere at Brasserie Provence is warm and inviting, and the staff are consistently excellent—attentive without being intrusive. I’ve been here multiple times and have never had a disappointing experience. The mushroom appetizer deserves special mention; it’s easily the best mushroom dish I’ve ever had and something I genuinely look forward to each visit.

Splendid! 5 stars all around! Our first time trying Brassiere Provonce & I am so sad we hadn’t tried it sooner! This has been a frequent local haunt for my parents every Friday & they invited us out to dinner this past Saturday! The charcuterie, soups, cassoulet , lamb chop , steak frites & desserts are some of the best we have had in the city! Thank you to the incredible staff, bar tender Galen & the owner for making the experience even more wonderful! Cheers! We will be back soon!

I’m giving 5 but really mean 4.5, I think it’s appropriately rated. The menu is somewhat hit or miss, but the hits are really good, and the misses are only disappointing, not bad.

First, the ambiance is great, despite the strip mall exterior. Formal looking without being stuffy, so you don’t feel out of place. Cute little Lego set of the place and some history.

Service was attentive and warm. Our waiter was relaxed and had a dry wit I appreciated, and they repeatedly checked to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Nothing outstanding, but definitely up to par for this kind of restaurant.

Cocktails were just a bit disappointing to me, the Manhattan was was watered down, the sand de peche really got taken over by the red win, but the kir du loup was solid. Would recommend just doing wine or trying some of the French liquors. I liked the brandy and Pernod quite a bit.

Charcuterie was skimpy for the price, and I was disappointed with the pate, but the toasted baguette slices, fig jam, and duck butter were , and everything else was solid. French onion soup was average.

The lavender glazed pork chop is enough by itself to make me come back, they nailed that floral flavor balance perfectly, and the bonus is it comes with the best sides! Potatoes gratin were sublimely rich, and the ratatouille had a good char to it. My stuffed chicken was also really good, though, and I always love good roasted brussel sprouts.

Flourless chocolate cake was a great finish, decadent with a touch of pastry cream.

Overall, it’s not the best French food I’ve ever had (Parc in Philly), but there are some great items on the menu that make it worth a visit, and it has more reasonable prices than the other French restaurants in the area
