I would also like to highlight the speed of the service our order arrived very quickly, while the quality of the dishes remained excellent. A great place to relax and enjoy good food and drinks.
Also had the sausage and mash potato which was delicious
Service is attentive and welcoming to tourists
Sat outside in the winter which was nice and private
We arrived quiet late, but the host was very kind to let us order food.
The food was very tasty and presented well
The Onoin soup is the ” Best I ever tasted ” said this Chef
I am rethinking the process of how I make my own, to achieve the flavor profile made here!!! Well done!!!
Albert was our Waiter, very friendly and attentive to the table. We arrived just prior to a busy period.
Service was expedited perfectly as we were not in a hurry, the food came out quickly and the hot items were the perfect temp…Bravo !!…..as so many times in the US, the food comes out luke- warm…not the case here!!!
Noise level was up, yet it on a busy street, and great to watch the people…
But yet you could still talk
Kudos all around Brasserie Pastis!!!
Service was excellent. They worked hard to help us in English!
This place is super close to the hotel where I stayed, and I found it through a TikTok recommendation. The food is great, the staff is friendly, but the space is quite small. I highly recommend booking a table in advance if you plan to come for lunch or dinner. If not, it will be hard to get a table. It’s super crowded.
The cordon bleu and salmon were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the tuna wasn’t really to my taste. The escargot was okay, and I also tried something similar to a spring roll filled with goat meat and cheese. Surprisingly, it tasted sweet, with no goat meat smell at all, unexpected but enjoyable!
The food was decent and hearty, very welcome after a red eye flight. However, the food took quite long to be served, around 45 min but I’m willing to wait for good food.
The only negative was the service, where the server asked for a tip or service charge even though this is included in the listed price of the food and isn’t the norm in France. The service was typical, nothing amazing. Sadly, being sleep-deprived and feeling quite pressured by the server into leaving a tip, I left one.
Asking for double tips is becoming more prevalent in Paris restaurants as servers take advantage of North American ignorance or ‘guilt’. After this encounter, I checked restaurant reviews and avoided restaurants where there was double-tipping. I managed to avoid restaurants like this one for the rest of my trip. I’m leaving this review so that other travelers and tourists are aware.
