We had some really good dishes and some other disappointing ones.
The french onion soup is amazing and I highly recommend to those who like french onion soup.
The chestnut soup also had great flavor and was a nice surprise. The salmon was amazing and the sauce that comes with the mashed potatoes and veggies really made the dish.
The steak frites were disappointing. The sauce was good but the meat was too chewey even though it was pink in the middle. It should have been softer.
The lemon tart was really good and refreshing but the vanilla flan honestly had no flavor.
I would like to go back and try other things in the menu but it is clear some things are better than others. The house white wine was also a nice balanced choice with all the food. We got a bottle for $30
On the positive side. The French onion soup was flavorful and well-made. The salmon was also really tasty and cooked well. For dessert, the tarte au citron was a solid finish to the meal.
However, the steak was a disappointment. It was chewy and really lacked flavor. The vanilla flan was a complete miss for me as well since it had no taste at all.
Beware of hidden fees. The restaurant adds a mandatory 20% “service fee” to every check to “cover operating costs” and is not a tip for the server. It’s definitely something to be aware of before you sit down so the final price doesn’t catch you off guard.
We began with the French onion soup, which was deeply flavorful. The rich broth, caramelized onions, and melted cheese topping came together perfectly, making it a true standout starter. The steak tartare with raw egg was well-prepared, seasoned just right, and fresh, offering the classic taste you expect from this French favorite.
The croquettes were another strong point—crispy on the outside with a creamy interior, ideal as a shared appetizer. Although I personally didn’t try the escargot, the rest of the table enjoyed it and commented on its tenderness and garlicky butter sauce, so it seems to be a reliable choice here as well.
For the main course, the pasta was cooked al dente with a flavorful sauce, simple yet satisfying. While not the most traditional French option on the menu, it held its own in terms of taste and execution.
Service was smooth and attentive, and the atmosphere carried the kind of cozy charm you hope for in a French bistro setting. Overall, the meal delivered on both quality and variety, with the wine and onion soup as the clear standouts. I would return, especially to try more of the classic dishes done well here.

Our server, Marianne, gave the best service I’ve had in a long time. The manager on shift, David, graciously gave us bottle service and was so kind.
We shared the gnocchi, steak tartar, green beans, the house salad with steak, the pot de creme, and citrus tart. Everything was delicious!! I cannot for the life of me figure out why this place only has 4.2 stars, they exceeded every expectation I had. I’m also a server, and its rare I receive the service I give, I was happy to give my money to this establishment. 10/10, I cant wait to go back. Thank you so much Marriane and David for everything!
