Been eyeing brasserie leon for a while so we decided to come here for my birthday lunch. Overall ambiance was fantastic. We had raclette for appetiser and it tasted amazing would rate it solid 10/10. I’m not big fan of steak but decided to give their signature parisien a try with foie gras. Unfortunately it’s a let down :// we asked for medium rare but got medium instead. But foie gras definitely added depth to the taste of the steak. Duck confit was pretty good I’d rate it 7/10 very tender and juicy.

Aside from the food, I think the service can be improved. We were not done with the appetiser but the mains have arrived and we were expected to clear the plate to make way for them. Also, since our table was only for two it was a little crowded with meals AND 2 types of drinks we ordered which both came in carafes. Their staff could definitely benefit from a bit of training. No drink refills were offered we did it our own

The overall vibe was nothing short of excellent. Maybe I’ll give this another chance one day.

Celebrated my mom’s birthday dinner last night at Leon Brasserie, Damansara and it was such a lovely experience.
Since she’s just getting well, she requested no beef which turned into the perfect excuse for us to explore a variety of appetisers instead. We ordered the mushroom en persillade, assorted bread basket, calamars frits, raclette, and the salade du chef (which was AMAZING and honestly a standout).

For mains, we went with the chef’s recommendations Langouste Pasta and Cod Fillet à la Grenobloise. Both were absolutely delicious and full of flavour without being too heavy. We ended the night with a birthday Mousse au Chocolat, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and the ideal way to wrap up the evening.

Special shoutout to our server Sudest, who was truly wonderful throughout the night, attentive, warm, and catered to every request so seamlessly. Service like that really elevates the entire dining experience.

If you’re looking to explore a new dining spot, Leon Brasserie is a must. The interior literally transports you to Paris from the décor and colour palette to the serving etiquette, plates, and presentation. Everything is thoughtfully curated and so aesthetically pleasing.
Highly recommended, it definitely won’t disappoint. ✨

Had such a nice lunch at Brasserie Léon last Friday. We came without a reservation and were lucky to get a table, but I’d definitely recommend booking ahead because the place was quite busy. It’s clearly a popular spot.

From the appetiser all the way to dessert, everything was really good. You know when every course just hits the spot? That was this lunch. The soup was flavourful, mains were satisfying without being too heavy, and dessert was the perfect sweet ending. Nothing felt rushed or sloppy — just good, solid French food done right.

The ambience is also worth mentioning. It has that classic French brasserie feel — relaxed but still a little special. Nice setting for a casual lunch that still feels like a treat.

Service was fast and efficient, and the staff handled the busy crowd really well. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I’d happily come back again. Definitely a nice French restaurant to keep in mind.

I had an incredible meal at Brasserie Léon. You absolutely cannot miss the steak—it was cooked just perfectly and melted in my mouth. A huge standout for me was their butter; it is genuinely amazing and adds so much flavor to everything. We also tried the robster pasta, which was surprisingly amazing and packed with rich flavor. Highly recommend

Had a great first time experience here. The steak parisien was amazing, i really loved the gravy and the complimentary fries. I fell in love with the mousse au chocolat, it was creamy but chocolaty and i still think about the taste. So so good. But the Langouste pasta was pretty average, the lobster was fresh but I wish the pasta tastes better considering its price. It was also said to be sharing for two but I felt the portion was not that many. Overall, I had a great experience with everything! The booking process was smooth, the service was also great, all of the staff attended us warmly. Will definitely come again to try other menus!

What a lovely restaurant with good vibes and menu selection. Staff were wonderful but could hv explained more about the dishes – what it is and how its made. Steak Parisien and steak au poivre with peppersorn sauce was perfectly done and very tender meat. Fried calamari were good and spicy. Prawn cocktail should have bn served without shell. Dessert choc profiteroles were too big with way too much cream-Should have served smaller bite sizes. Table was just next to cheese counter infront of kitchen door. Wasnt ideal at all as busy waiters were moving in and out with big tray dirty plates just behind seat and we needed to bend forward to avoid it all night! That table should have been moved away elsewhere.

I had high expectations of this place. The decor is quite classy and cosy. I liked that it was casual enough for families to enjoy. However we were seated close to the kitchen so it was a little distracting/noisy. My friend and I each ordered the steak parisien but we both couldn’t finish our steaks as the sauce was quite rich. We probably ordered too much for just 2 gals. We also had sides of creamed spinach & brussel sprouts. Hardly touched our fries. I really enjoyed the roasted brussel sprouts lol it had bits of hazelnut in it. The butter ‘mountain’ was impressive but the taste itself wasn’t anything special. We ordered the mushroom en persillade for our appetiser. It was nice but wasn’t spectacular. The dessert was too sweet for me – Tarte tatin – and we both thought the pastry was not flaky enough so it was not easy to cut. Perhaps we did not order the right things – if i do come next time, I would like to try the raclette.

Overall, the food was enjoyable and ambience evoked a classic Parisian flare. I’d highly recommend the escargots which are served with little crunchy crostini. Next would be their steak au poivre paired with peppercorn sauce – taste was spot on and the beef was very tender. This was better than their steak parisien which is their signature. French onion soup was decent but would have liked it richer. Loved their “orange wine” which is pretty much a really light and refreshing citrusy cocktail.

For dessert, the crepe suzette is a must. Sweet, buttery and citrusy. I’d go back just for their crepe.
Chocolate profiterole was good too. But the star was most definitely the crepe.

A special mention to our lovely server, AZIQ who was warm, very attentive and knowledgeable 10/10 . He made our visit even more enjoyable and gave the best food recommendations.

Would I go back? Yes – to try other dishes on the menu & re-order my favs. Would I request to be served by Aziq again? Most definitely.

My second visit to Brasserie Leon in a month. Great service and outstanding ambiance. Appreciated the Chef’s efforts to customise something vegetarian which is off the menu. They did it exceptionally well. Hope there will be more vegetarian options in the near future. Will be back!

proper french Brasserie im semantan. Fully booked at night!

very limited for vegetarian who doesn’t also eat gluten, but this salad du chef with loaded goat cheese nice. big portion.

Creamy version of raclette is nice, but fondant potato makes it too greasy. I think just roasted babe potatoes would work better.

Steak au poivre is properly done. Yet, the french fries aren’t up to the level, seems like single fried not double fried…

other than that all good.
