It took a long while for my food to come out compared to the others at the table. But it was very delicious and not too expensive. Service was okay, could be a little better but it seemed they were understaffed. All of our meals tasted good and they fit us in mid rush without a reso. I would go back.

It’s good but it could be better. Chicken in morille sauce – not the best chicken I’ve ever had, but with a delicious sauce. Nice beer, OK wine. Prices actually very reasonable by Beaune standards.
I’ve seen a couple of (unfavourable) reviews suggesting that the restaurant essentially goes after tourists. I couldn’t disagree more. So far as I could determine, most customers were local, many were regulars. I guess they pitch at a price/quality which fits with that profile.

Restaurant in centre of Beaune, can be very busy/hectic at times, not the most cosy place to have dinner.
Good choice of starters & mains, would recommend the camembert & escargots.

Service can be very slow. Waited almost 30 mins for my beef bourguignon to be served. Food was however really very good. Servers made an effort to speak English to me too. Will recommend if you have time to spare for the wait.

We were in Beaune on a Sunday and hungry without a reservation. This was the only place we could find a seat and we decided to try despite the very mixed reviews. We were so glad we did, the fondue and croque monsieur we had here were both outstanding. We found no major issues with the service, and the back room decorated like a Swiss chalet was fun and cozy. Maybe we were lucky but I’d come back again next time I’m in Beaune.
