had a really great time here last weekend! i got engaged, and then we came here for reservations. the staff subtly made sure i had a ring on my hand before bringing us to our table that had a “congratulations” sign on it, which was really cute.

maddie had really awesome suggestions for drinks AND food. i dont really like champagne, but wanted some for the occasion, and maddie picked out a great one for me to try. she also gave us food suggestions, and honestly, i thought it was a little crazy she suggested chicken at such a nice restaurant lol, but oh my god that chicken was freakishly good. like thanksgiving chicken. 10/10. the steak was also quite yummy.

i also have to shoutout maddie twice, because she was the friendlist waitress ive ever had, and that just really really added to the special day. she seemed to truly care about our celebration/engagement, and made great conversation, while still being efficient and hardworking. at the end of our dinner, she brought us to the speakeasy downstairs (another great suggestion by maddie), and we had great service from avery. the drinks he made were fantastic and he seems to treat his customers well.

definitely will visit this place again if i find myself in charleston sometime

We visited this restaurant for brunch to celebrate our marriage and were very excited to try their croissants. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, and we were kindly offered a complimentary glass of bubbles to celebrate our special occasion. I requested seating at the chef’s counter, which turned out to be a wonderful choice—it was a pleasure to observe the team’s professionalism and attention to detail as they prepared each dish.

We ordered two croissants, both of which were outstanding. I especially recommend the pumpkin cheesecake croissant, which was our favorite. We also tried the hamburger with potatoes, and everything was delicious; it was clear that the food is made in-house with great care.

I would absolutely return to explore more items on the menu after such an enjoyable experience. This is without a doubt one of the best places in town for brunch—11/10.

What a lovely experience we had at this gorgeous restaurant! It was a friend’s birthday and the amazing staff made it so special. The food was absolutely delicious- I highly recommend the chicken fricasse and the ratatouille. The creme brulee was the perfect finish to a most wonderful dining experience. We’ll be back next trip to Charleston!

This is probably the greatest meal I’ve ever had in my life. I was genuinely moved to tears as I took the first bites of the Pickled Shrimp Gougere. Everything we got melted in our mouths! Joshua was the most incredible server, on top of everything. He brought us extra bread and packed it up for us to go. I picked this restaurant to do a dinner with my mother and it was genuinely the perfect restaurant. Next time we’re taking my grandmother!

We had a late lunch and were celebrating a milestone anniversary. Food was very good and our wait person was fine. There were only two other diners at the bar area and when we walked in, the host did not immediately greet us nor ask if she could help us which was a bit odd. We had to ask if we could dine before she responded and she wanted to seat us at the bar but we asked for a table given we were celebrating our anniversary. Thankfully he food and our wait person made up for that initial impression. There was no acknowledgement of our celebration which was surprising given other reviews. In any case, we would likely return because the food is very good. Here are pictures of a few dishes from our meal.

We had such a wonderful time at Brasserie La Banque! The food was delicious from the peach French toast to the steak & eggs and the BLT, everything hit the spot. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even invited us upstairs to see their spacious private event area and downstairs to explore the speakeasy, sharing the history along the way, which was such a treat.

Our brunch did have a longer gap between appetizers and mains, but the flavors made up for it. To make up for the wait, they surprised us with three fresh croissants including the best banana croissant I’ve ever had.

We stayed for about two hours, and with two toddlers in tow, they eventually got a bit restless and wandered around. The team greeted them warmly and made us feel at ease, even though we may have disturbed a few guests (sorry!).

Thank you for the hospitality! I’ll be back for that banana croissant!

Visiting from Georgia, took my girlfriend for her “birthday weekend”. The table was reserved with a framed “Happy Birthday!” certificate and a card, signed individually by the staff. Really nice personal touch, and the attention to detail continued throughout the meal. Food was some of the best I’ve had in “The Lowcountry”, and the service was top notch. Escargot, Fillet Mignon, and dessert were all excellent. We left feeling full and spoiled.

Our rehearsal dinner at La Brasserie Banque was absolutely stunning. The space is gorgeous, the ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, and the food and cocktails were truly incredible, a 10/10 experience across the board. Caitlin was wonderful to work with and made sure everything felt seamless. Our families and wedding party raved about it, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our wedding weekend.

Literally the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Every single thing my family and I ordered was perfect. Our server, Josh gave the most perfect service I’ve ever received, and made us want to come back asap. He made great recommendations, well-timed jokes, and paced our food perfectly.

Here for restaurant week and they nail not only the french food, but the french culture in there too. The decorations and interior design make you feel somewhere else. Service overall very attentive but seemed a little slow even when there was only 3-4 tables.

Oysters Thermidor: Very good, creamy, flavorful and not fishy

Scallop Carpaccio: Cucumber oil was interesting, the smoked roe was the star bringing it altogether. Herbs didn’t complement

French Onion Soup: Wish it had a bit more char on the cheese, and missing salt, but overall delicious.

Gnocchi Parisienne: nicely seared gnocchi and incredible sauce. Shrimps were decent size and mussel not overcooked. Barely if any saffron flavor.

Mkt Fish – Amadine: Tile fish with good flaky bite, but not overcooked. Sear was a little uneven but the lemon crust was delicious with the toasted almonds. Butternut squash was excellent and buttery smooth.

Vanilla Cream Crème Brûlée: Perfect.

Profiteroles: Perfect amount, ice cream was average but the pastry was fluffy but with a slight crunch still. Chocolate sauce has great flavor and wasn’t too sweet.

On the expensive side of Charleston, meal for two came to over $150 with tax, tip.
