On Main Street in a quaint college town surrounded by viticulture, we happened upon this charming French restaurant. The server was lovely, and knowledgeable about the cuisine and wine while accommodating a gluten allergy. I loved every minute of our dining experience.

Our server was excellent, Apps and soups were very good. They served a well done special rib eye as a medium to medium rare. Steak was very thin, difficult to cook. They offered to provide another meal and the Manager apologized and removed the meal plus comped our dessert. Excellent service. We will stick to the french classics next time.

I love this place. The only place in town to get French food, but it is reasonably priced ($70 for 2) and very good. Service is excellent. Good wine selection and desserts. Good daily specials. The only downside is that it is noisy and difficult to have a conversation.

5/31/25 came over on a gorgeous sunny afternoon Saturday. Just got a reservation.
Salads and fries. Beet salad and Caesar. You can’t beat that. Two orders of fries and two salads.
Came in on a Saturday afternoon. Wine walk goin on. Got seated. No reservation.
Prompt service. Very clean. Very polite.
Waitress discussed menus and specials
Chose some appetizers the cheese selection and the olives. Very nice. Cheese selection had a lot of different options. Very good.
The olives were a mix. Seasoned and had a little orange zest in there which was nice.
Got an entree. The steak frite. Steak and fries.
Ordered med rare. More on the rare side than the medium. A little pepper we added. The black peppercorn sauce they served with it was amazing
The fries were perfect. Absolutely done correctly. A little salt added.
Simply put. It was an amazing meal. Had the best intentions of going somewhere else for more food later on. Did not need it.
If you are coming to walla walla. Or you live near and haven’t been. I suggest it.
Came back again. 4/20/24

Came back on Friday 12/6/24 same meal. Great service. Amazing

This was my first trip to Walla Walla and our first stop. Loved, loved, loved Brasserie Four. We enjoyed their outdoor seating area, kept warm by their patio heaters. Our vodka, soda, lime drinks were perfectly poured. Three out of the four of us ordered identical meals; a bowl of French onion soup and a baguette to start, a Croque Monsieur sandwich as our main course, and Creme Brulee for dessert. All were delicious! As for service…fabulous. All the weight staff were courteous, accommodating and Johnny-on-the-spot. As for price…reasonable considering the quality and type of food. My three-course meal was about $40. (Drink price not included in that total.) I felt this was very reasonable for what was, in my opinion, a five-star meal at a five-star restaurant. Nowhere in my neck of the woods do we have a good french restaurant, let alone at these prices. Bummer I didn’t take pictures to share. I will definutely return on my next trip to Walla Walla.

My Favorite Special Occasion Spot in Eastern Washington!
If you’re looking for authentic French cuisine, Brasserie Four in Walla Walla is hands down the best. It’s our go-to spot for special occasions, and we even drive from Tri-Cities just for lunch! But take my advice—make a reservation, as this hidden gem is no longer much of a secret.
I typically go for the foie gras, escargot, and their amazing Steak Frites. Every bite is perfection! The kids love their Margherita pizza, and the fresh bread served with the meal is a hit for everyone. If the weather’s nice, outdoor seating is where you want to be, with a prime location right on Walla Walla’s main shopping and wine-tasting street.
Parking can be a bit tricky on weekends, but it’s worth it. Grab lunch, sip some wine, and enjoy a leisurely day in town. In my opinion, this is easily the top restaurant in the region!

Sat at the bar on a Tuesday night, shortly after they opened. Started slow but filled up quickly and was very lively. I started with half dozen mixed oysters and the smaller ones were just too small to really enjoy, but the server picked out a sparkling wine for me to pair and it was lovely. Went on to the Caesar salad, very good, not the best I’ve had, but good. Followed that up with the mushroom soup which was tasty. I asked for a half glass of red, which was happily accommodated. I finished with the sorbet, which I wasn’t particularly wowed by, but overall it was a good meal with attentive service. I’ll go back again.

Lovely restaurant with lovely food. The bouillabaisse in particular was amazing! We got the sharing portion for 4 people amongst other dishes (rockfish, steak frites, asparagus, truffle pizza, and a wonderful mousse for dessert). Everything tasted perfect!!

We are on a trip through Walla Walla and passed by… I haven’t had french food in a while, so we decided to drop in for dinner. On a wednesday night, in off-season, the place was packed… after a very short wait we got 2 seats at the bar and had a wonderful dinner. If the dinner was 5-star, the dark chocolate mousse for dessert was 6-star. Great selection of wines which are reasonably priced, and really nice Port selection for after dinner (also reasonably priced).
