Fouquet’s is a perfect spot for a girls’ day! My friends and I love going after the spa for a casual early dinner. We love the Caesar salad with rotisserie chicken, thick-cut fries, French onion soup, and mushroom risotto. The staff is always attentive and friendly. Weekdays are relaxed and casual, and on weekends, it gets lively. The bar scene is fun, too—something for every mood!

Beautiful space with beautiful food. Enjoyed a lovely Carpaccio that was light and refreshing. Then went with the Prime Dry Aged Filet which was cooked perfectly. Very very delicious steak! They had a great tea selection as well.

Had brunch on a Saturday and had a good time. Their pastry selection was delicious and went well with cappuccino. One of the best butter croissants in NYC. They had a different style of making Eggs Benedict but the spinach added an aftertaste to the classic version. My suggestion would be to keep it classic even with the sauce. Overall enjoyed our Brunch.

Went here for Valentine’s Day dinner – food, and service were good. Atmosphere could’ve been better as we were sat next to the server entrance, though didn’t bother me. That being said, the ending of the night was ruined. I had called multiple times previously to see if it’d be possible to book a table for Titsou Bar (the lobby/cocktail bar speakeasy) post-dinner. I was told reservations were only for hotel guests (which I totally understand), though walk-ins are more than welcome – this was confirmed multiple times. After dinner, I was walked into the bar after dinner by a kind gentleman who worked for the restaurant, only to be greeted by two hosts, who were flat out rude. I was asked if I was staying at the hotel, which I replied I was not, though had just dined with them for Valentine’s Day dinner. I also let them know I called and was told I could walk-in for a drink after dinner. The host then checked her system and said they were fully committed to the night…this confused me as more than half of the tables in the bar were wide open…the place was nearly empty. I was not asked if I wanted to wait for something to open up (even seats at the bar), or if I wanted a drink out in the lobby (which is an option usually). I was simply told “we’re fully committed”. You’d think that on Valentine’s Day, out of all days, the service and hospitality would be a bit better, especially at an upscale hotel. Incredibly disappointed with this experience.

Brasserie Fouquet’s New York is such a fantastic spot, and my visit was absolutely delightful. I sat at the bar, which gave the experience a lively yet relaxed vibe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great ambient setting that makes it perfect for anything from a casual drink to a full meal.

One of the best parts? It’s incredibly dog-friendly. My pup was made to feel just as welcome as we were, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and approachability.

The drinks were amazing — expertly crafted and perfectly balanced. I also tried the tuna tartare, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The French onion soup was rich, comforting, and full of depth, making it a real highlight of the meal. Every dish I tried showed real care and attention to detail.

Overall, Brasserie Fouquet’s combines excellent food, outstanding drinks, and a welcoming, stylish environment. Whether you’re coming with friends, your pup, or just for a relaxing evening at the bar, it’s an experience that doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommend for anyone looking for classic French fare with a sophisticated yet approachable atmosphere in New York City!

I’ve dined here several times with my husband, and the food is truly delicious, with a variety of dishes we’ve enjoyed. As someone with a sweet tooth, I can’t recommend their profiteroles enough—they’re absolutely divine!

The festive atmosphere adds to the charm, making each visit feel special. I absolutely love the decor—rich velvet, vibrant colors, and elegant chandeliers create the perfect French chic ambiance.

I truly appreciate French cuisine, and this restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience. The service was impeccable, further enhancing our visits. Highly recommend!

The worst experience ever.
We spent Valentine’s Day diner in this brasserie and they’ve ruined our celebration.
Firstly, they offered course menu, which is okay, but mainly it had Italian dishes (in a French brasserie?!). All food was OK, but definitely not restaurant level. We paid 200 dollars per person without drinks, for this price my wife got mushroom soup, pasta with cheese (which supposed to be with truffle but it was just plain spaghetti with Parmesan) and a desert. Of course skilled chief can make this dishes on a restaurant level, but this one was just like from unfrozen deli from local supermarket, especially for almost $200.
Secondly, the service was awful. Waiter didn’t introduce herself so I can’t even write how bad was she. Everything I asked her she did as she’s not working in that place and as I’m forcing her to do that even though it was her job. The only moment she was happy when I’ve asked for a checks She didn’t explain anything from the course menu and in the end she just added gratuity to our check, which was almost $120. I think that it’s unfair, cause they had only course menu and I can’t get what this person did that made me to tip her $100+.
Generally I would not recommend this place for anybody, especially if you’re looking for authentic French brasserie experience, the only good thing they have is their brand new place, but the kitchen and service are awful.

Outstanding food and a really cool upscale atmosphere. We went with the waiters recommendation for appetizers and main courses and everything was perfect. We were with a fairly large group (7) and everyone’s order came out on time and was done exactly to their requests. If your near The Foquet I highly recommend this place.

This review is for the pre-fixe menu offered on Thanksgiving Day. We had a reservation for 2pm for 4 people and every element of the meal from service to food to ambiance was fantastic. We ordered and shared the hamachi crudo, the Hudson Vallery seared foie gras, the butter lettuce salad and for mains the turkey which was phenomenal and one of our friends ordered the beef filet with green peppercorn sauce which was SUBLIME (I am coming back for that very soon!). We ordered all the desserts and especially loved the Chocolate Hazelnut Bombe. There is also a stunning bar in the hotel that was not open that day but the manager gave us a tour – also worth coming back for a cocktail in that beautiful space.
