We visited this coffee shop recently and it was very busy, which is understandable since it’s a new place. We only tried the coffee and unfortunately it wasn’t our favorite it tasted very sweet and more like a syrupy drink than real coffee. We didn’t try the desserts, but they looked nice. The place has a lot of potential, so hopefully the coffee will improve over time.

Interesting place with social seating arrangements and a large selection of baked goods. I had a raisin bun; it looked great, but it was dry and stale—not what I’d expect for a $6 pastry. The $22 duck confit sandwich was greasy and falling apart. There was very little duck or value for that price tag, though I understand I’m partially paying for the location. That said, it was surprisingly tasty. Service was top-notch, so I’ll give it one more go to give this place a second chance.

I am in love with this place. The service is spectacular, thank you, John. If you want to know what the restaurants and food are like in Paris, France, go here, it is spot on. I had the escargot , oysters , and a charcuterie board with flavors I had never experienced before, delicious and unique.

Oh my! After being sad for a long time that we don’t have a reason to visit Aiken SC (our daughter is no longer competing in the riding competitions there) and the amazing French brasserie there, we finally found this amazing brasserie in south Charlotte, just 10 minutes away from our house!
The filet mignon was worth of a true steakhouse (which is actually far superior than o a place in France ), and the asparagus was DELISH. My wife wasn’t fond of the Espresso Martini, but I loved it. The Strawberry Crème Puff was very French and not the typical overly sweet American dessert, which is just what I wanted.
My wife picked the Tiramisu Box for tomorrow, and I got the French Toast Casserole for breakfast tomorrow. I’ll update my review after we have those tomorrow.

This seems to be a busy coffee and pastry shop. We got there about 10:50 am. They said at 11 they would start the lunch menu. You order at the counter and try to find a table. The lady entering our order was slow in trying to enter each item but still missed one of the pastries I asked for. We were offered to review the order before paying but it was had to read. Some tables were full with people drinking coffee with their laptops. Others just enjoying chatting. The parking lot wasn’t free of ice. The quiche wasn’t fully warmed by the microwave. The salad with salmon was good but it wasn’t a relaxing experience.

Excellent service and such a charming spot! The Caesar salad was incredible—I ordered it to go and it may honestly be the best salad I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back and try their bakery items. It’s so refreshing to find a full-service restaurant open until 10 PM. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they truly make the experience feel like a 10-star visit.

Visited the new location the day after their grand opening and arrived around 9:30 to avoid the huge crowd. We ordered a sour dough loaf, yogurt parfait, croissant, donut, breakfast sandwich and 2 lattes. The total was $57 which was super pricey. I will mention that the parfait and baked items were decent however, I was originally in between a plain croissant or biscuit. I asked if they offer any butter and/or jam with the biscuit to which they informed me they do not…that’s insane. Additionally, the coffee here is mediocre. It’s super watered down. I would recommend getting coffee else where ( not flykidfly because they suck too).

Absolutely incredible place with great atmosphere and food that is out of this world! It feels like you just stepped into a French bakery on the streets of Paris. What an incredible job to bring this space to life and the pastries, coffee and menu items are just outstanding!
Nothing like this in North Carolina and I’d put it against the best spots anywhere. Perfect for a coffee with a friend, business lunch or date spot with someone special.
They lines were long this weekend but it was a much anticipated spot and it didn’t fail to live up to the expectations…..highly recommend!
