We had a great valentines night at Brasserie Benelux. Friendly staffs trying to offer you the best. I didn’t like my drink and I was offered to change it to something else that I might like. The restaurant is comfy cozy great for date and a romantic dinner. The short ribs was cooked enough and tendered well served with mashed potato. 1/2 fried dock was served with green beans and beats which was also delicious. Definitely recommend the streudel…we had the schlag and added ice cream and it was perfection! We would return next time we visit Saratoga to try other dishes.

Visited for Restaurant Week Nov 2025. I had the Sauerbraten, potato pancake app & the cream puffs ($35). We also ordered the pretzel and sausage platter. Food was good. Portions were reasonable to generous size. There is a midweek special menu that is less than the restaurant week menu – they don’t advertise it on the website but I saw it posted near the restrooms. We had a fantastic anniversary dinner last night at Brasserie Benelux! It was our 3rd time eating there and once again the food was amazing! The Bitterballen is our favorite appetizer. A great way to start our night off along with some very tasty cocktails. Our house salads were so fresh and crisp with a very nice and light house vinaigrette. We each had veal dishes from their New Years special menu that were done to perfection.
For dessert we chose the Chocolate mousse Torte and the Strawberry Belgian Liege Waffle. Both were out of this world!
We would like to thank Chef Armand for the wonderful food and the complimentary toast of bubbly to celebrate our special night. Our server, Alana was so friendly and attentive. A thank you also to Tatiana for a warm welcome and for seating us in one of the comfy booths. You all made our anniversary a special evening!
Be sure when visiting the Saratoga area to make this restaurant a top priority. You won’t regret it!

“Bait and Shwitzel” aka Bait and Switch. Good food and great waitress service…however…Zero mention of forced price fixe for Christmas Eve on any reservation platform or while interacting prior to the reservation. Their response was saying they posted it on Facebook (I don’t have Facebook and would have no idea to look there). However, even on Facebook they advertised a price fixe IN ADDITION to regular menu offerings. Once in the door, with every other area restaurant booked for Christmas Eve, we were not allowed to order from the regular menu. We had kids with us who had to eat appetizers for Christmas Eve dinner. The “Chef/Owner” refused to compromise, despite multiple attempts through the waitresses. Will not return to this restaurant. Beware of eating here during holidays. I bet this place doesn’t exist in a year or two with these pathetic management decisions. Twenty two dollars for an appetizer with four overcooked scallops…nope. Not in upstate NY. Their food is good but not good enough to force an expensive price fixe filled with the cheapest items on the menu.

The bloody Mary was amazing. The split pea soup was the best my husband and I have ever tried. Our entree’s were cooked perfectly and delish. The dessert was the best we ever had! Can’t say enough good things about this place! Alana the server was fantastic! The owner and chef stopped to talk to us and so did the bus boy. We will be regular customers from now on. SO HAPPY WITH OUR WHOLE EXPERIENCE. IF THIS PLACE IS EVER HIRING I WANT TO WORK THERE. SIMPLY AMAZING❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

As Belgians visiting the area, we were delighted to find this cozy European brasserie right in the heart of town. We absolutely loved the mussels, the bitterballen, and the Dame Blanche Sunday — all prepared beautifully and full of authentic flavor. If you’re looking to experience genuine Central European comfort food in a warm, inviting atmosphere, this place is a must-try!

As we were walking down the street to another restaurant, we caught glimpse of this place and its wonderful German cuisine menu. So, we popped in and didn’t regret it. Our schnitzel and Bavarian sausage plate were delicious. A little live music to go along with it in a relaxing atmosphere made it all the better. And… highly recommend the bloody mary… simple but flavorful!

We visited this restaurant for the first time on Christmas Eve since it was one of the restaurants that was open. There was a three course dinner and ala carte appetizers available which made it nice to have different things to choose from including a meal for the children. The three course dinner was $60, which was a good price for the holidays since a lot of other places were charging much more and included an appetizer entrée and dessert including expensive items such as duck and short ribs.
Since we are with a large group, you ordered different things. We had the homemade butternut squash, soup and turkey soup, which were on point . The pastrami tartine was an open face sandwich on danish, black bread with cucumbers and pastrami, spiced smoked salmon. Delicious and very European. The pasta with lobster sauce and scallops was silky and delicate. We ordered the bone and short ribs with port wine sauce, which were very tender and delicious. Mosa Robert group had the black forest chicken, which was a chicken schnitzel with layers of ham and gruyère cheese with a creamy mushroom sauce. Most of the entrées were served with fresh mashed potatoes. Luckily in the dessert selection there was a gluten-free chocolate cake and my personal favorite was the mini cream puffs with warm chocolate sauce and fresh whipped cream. The place was extremely busy, but we never had to wait for our table and it seemed that everything was very organized, and the staff was super friendly , especially the host.
