We came from out of town around 10pm on a Friday and were able to get seated right away. I ordered the brussel sprouts, and the steak bites and fries; and my husband got the all meat pizza. The brussel sprouts were perfectly crispy and flavorful. The fries were decent and the steak bites juicy. The sauce for the steak bites stole the show for me. It seemed made in house, with a ketchupy, bbq, tangy taste. My husband thought the pizza was amazing. The crust was nice and crispy, with garlic butter flavor to it, plenty of meat, and the cheese had a good stretch. We both enjoyed and would order again.
Staff was not overly friendly, but gratuity is included in the bill.

Before I begin, I want to clarify that I had been walking all along Woodward Avenue, going into different restaurants, and they were all full, and I ended up here for that reason, simply looking for a place to have dinner.

Upon entering, you see a sign that says 18% mandatory tip, because now the business model of restaurants in this country is that we, the customers, are the ones who have to pay the waiters’ salaries.

We sat down, and the service was terrible, probably because it was packed. The place is small and uncomfortable and looks like any cheap bar or restaurant; in fact, it feels like a makeshift place.

Mediocre menu, nothing special. Just basic dishes that you can get anywhere else for $12, with the difference that here you’ll pay $20 or more.

The waitress refused to serve one of my companions the children’s meal because she wasn’t a child. Which is a bit ridiculous; she just wanted to eat less, so she would pay less for less food. Even so, it turned into a whole drama. The waitress was trying her best to do her job without causing any trouble, but the greedy policies of whoever manages this place made everything more difficult. (I hope the girl finds another job; at least that’s what I wish for her.)

My meal was just okay, but they still tried to charge me an extra dollar for a dish that had a different price on the menu. They adjusted it when we complained. Nobody gives me my money away for free, and these are just tactics to rip off customers without them realizing it.

From the moment I walked in and saw the sign for the mandatory 18% tip, I could already predict how the experience would be. It’s clear this place is managed by someone who has no idea about good customer service or running a business. Just someone desperate to make money.

We were bar hopping and stopped at this location to check it out. This place is great to watch a football game!! The staff was friendly and the waitress we had took great care of us. Loved the atmosphere and the drinks!! We’ll have to come back to try the food next time. Otherwise I definitely recommend!!

The older lady at the door (the hostess) definitely had a bit of an attitude. I get that life can be tough, but no need to take it out on the customers.

As for the food, it’s kind of hit or miss. On opening day, which was super busy, the food was actually pretty good. But when I came back the next day after the game for a to-go order, the Brussels sprouts were burnt and greasy, and the pizza—whoever cut it, why did you do me like that?

On the bright side, the bartender was super nice and quick. But she was having a nice chat while my to-go order just sat at the end of the bar.

Went for brunch one day. The skillet was ok not a lot of meat in one. The other one was sent back bc it wasn’t correct also. The turkey bacon was cooked to our liking. French toast was yummy. The wings were the star of the experience. They are a good sweet sticky wing. Nice place to hang out in the middle of it all.

Awesome food and great service! We tried a variety of different pizzas and everyone was super pleased! Heads up, get a large! We had the Sicilian pizza, Margarita pizza and the Chicken Cordon Blue pizza and they were super good. They also have some seating outside so you can people watch while you eat! Tons of beer choices also.

Really bad experience. I’m not a fan when restaurants have a mandatory gratuity… I’ll happily tip well but I like to control how I tip.
My wife and I went here with another couple and my wife wasn’t all that hungry…she tried to order something from the kids menu and they refused to let her. I think this is THE most moronic policy…we’re paying for less food, so why does it matter if a child eats it or not? Small portion = smaller price. The reverse is allowed…children can order off the “adult menu”. The waitress argued with us for a couple minutes before she said she’d ask the manager. She came back 10 minutes later and said her manager said no and we needed to pick another entrée. We begrudgingly chose some birria tacos instead. 5 minutes later she comes back with the rest of our food and said unfortunately they’re out of tortillas and we needed to pick yet another entrée. She also apologized and offered a free drink- which we declined. We just wanted to order the entrée in the appropriately sized proportion we desired.
We then asked to speak to the manager. After another 5-10 minutes we get told she’s not actually there but that they’ll put in an order or chicken tenders.

In the end I believe they gave us a full sized chicken tender as my wife only ate half, but they only charged for a kids meal. I appreciate the outcome I suppose but I’ve never had to work so hard in my life to order something off a restaurants menu (which by the way doesn’t mention age requirements for kids meals). I felt this could have been handled far better and although I can’t fault the waitress for the policy, I feel it could’ve been handled better and in a more prompt manner.
Aside from this issue, the food was relatively average, the service was very slow (although I conceded they were busy), and the couple we were with was overcharged for a meal but it was fixed after they pointed it out.

We honestly only ate here because it was the only restaurant we could find with availability and we were in a bit of a time crunch. After this experience, I would never return.

Not sure what happened to this place, but the service was extremely disappointing. The environment felt trashy, the host was openly begging for money, and our servers refused to split the check for a table of six. The bartender wouldn’t allow us to move chairs from a neighboring table, which made no sense. To top it off, gratuity was already added, yet the service was some of the worst we’ve experienced. Overall, a very poor experience — we won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend it.

Customer Service
It’s literally under construction inside and they’re charging five dollars for a Pepsi and $14 for a disgusting whiskey sour. I get that you’re busy when there is a baseball game or whatever but any other time of the week there’s nobody in the bar, you should be offering buy one get one free appetizers or something. This place is a mess
