I was pretty disappointed in the Brisket sandwich. When I saw it on the menu I had my mind made up right then. It was a $16 sandwich. You can see what I got for that $16 in the picture. It looks like a slider. The waitress was super cool and got me more meat from the kitchen but still… that’s a pretty sad little $16 sandwich. My boyfriend’s food was great.

My husband and I shared the combo platter. I got the turkey and he got the ribs. Both were really good and we got the coleslaw and potato salad. The potato salad was exceptionally good with the brisket in it never had anything like that before delicious!!

Place is ok. Vibe is nice with plenty of space to eat and drink. Definitely skip on the 2 for one plate. Brisket was slim and dry With a link of sausage. The sides were good with beans and Tator salad. The corn bread was good nice and soft with flavor . If I do return will Def try something else. I came back and tried the nachos they were decent. Chips had a stale crunch.

Had 4 regular diners and a GFree person(me)!
I would say 90 of the menu could be gf…dedicated fryers and gf bun plus gf chicken tenders!
The wings were great.. sauces too!
I had the special Frisco melt on gf bun…another had the brisket sando and another had the bbq combo. All really great! The only think not ready were the ribs and that was our fault for going at 11am!
Can’t wait to go back .. tomorrow!

We were fortunate to secure a parking space almost directly in front of the Brass Pig. With a craving for BBQ, we decided to give the Brass Pig a try, and we are pleased that we did. Our seating was prompt, drinks arrived quickly, and we placed our order without delay after making our selections. We shared the nachos and a chicken sandwich, but only managed to finish the fries and most of the nachos. The food was exceptional, and we certainly intend to return. The prices were very reasonable too. Although this restaurant was not initially on our list, it deserves a spot on yours if you find yourself in Bloomington. #route66

Casual atmosphere, friendly staff, fair prices.
My daughter ordered the notorious pig sandwich, which she thought was really tasty. She had a side of the grilled corn on the cob that was good, and a side of the cornbread, which was mediocre. I had the nachos, not expecting it to be such a humongous portion. (See photo). They have an extensive bourbon menu as well as a large beer selection. I recommend you go hungry. You sure won’t leave hungry!
Addendum: on another visit to this restaurant, I got the ribs which I was very disappointed in. They were dry and not very tender. I would recommend sticking with the pulled pork.

Great local BBQ place with friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I had a beer while I waited for carry out. The food is good. We had brisket, sausage and sides. The brisket is flavorful, but is cut from the point and flat, so it has more fat. I prefer meet from the flat. Just a personal preference thing. The beans and potatoe salad were fantastic.

First time stopping in while passing thru Bloomington normal area. Found on “Find me GF.” Menu was mostly GF and the server was able to direct us to GF sauce options too! My kids were finally able to have GF fries in their dedicated fryer after a week of no options while traveling. I’d stop here again!

Last minute walk-in. They weren’t expecting a crowd, so Ty was a little lost since we were the first of the crowd. He was very good. Attentive and while a little flustered early on, was very loose and friendly. Nice quiet place with lots of TV’s. Also clean.
