Where all the locals go when they get off work . Good folks here no doubt about it. 100% locals Pub. After hour pub food was good. Drinks are made right. Bartenders are very attentive , Always love stopping here when passing thru on the Bike. Live music on stage and karaoke . Great Stop Good time !!

Great local dive bar. It can get rowdy sometimes though but it sure it’s entertaining lol. For the most part it’s a cool bar with affordable drinks and good late night food most days. They karaoke for sure on Mondays but they sporadically do it other nights. It’s a cool eclectic atmosphere for sure .

You have to kind of get “authorized” to settle in at a place like this. I got invited by a bartender working another bar after kind of getting vetted.
Stays open late and caters to service industry folks who get off work at other bars and want to wind down. So it’s a place to escape tourists, not be one.
Perfectly nothing fancy, long happy hour, lots of eclectic conversations, amazing smash burgers. Try it on a afternoon, drink local, be polite, and perhaps you too can get the nod to be an evening guest at a true local fixture.

Great locals bar in Marathon! Perfect for a quick lunch spot and even better for drinks at night! They have a liquor store next door aswell.

Really enjoyable dive bar this Funky Monkey (Beastie Boys reference lol) !! Really cool locals and tourists hangin out. I had heard about it from the front desk person at the hotel where I was staying, so I called and it was weird that they didn’t answer their phone. I’d suggest to management here to fix that link from Google to call here because they are likely losing potential business from people who call for information, confirm hours, etc. and may be taken aback by the no answer/weird recording you get. Glad I came to check it out despite this. It’s the only place open late around here. Enjoyed the live entertainment past “Marathon Midnight” (which is 9PM lol) by Fred on solo guitar who’s been playing here for over 40 years!! Wow! Only food served late is from Durty Dawgs food truck outside of the bar. I’m not sure of earlier menu options if any. It’s probably decent, but didn’t order anything since I had just eaten dinner. If you enjoy loveable dive bars, this is a really nice one with good vibes. Much nicer on the inside than the outside would lead you to believe. Check it out past Marathon Midnight ha ha!!

Cool little dive bar, however I ordered a coors light bottle and it was covered in fish slime!!! Absolutely wreaked of nasty fish. I kid you not. Won’t be going back.
