What a lovely little gem. Was a perfect place for a cold night out. Place is pretty small on the inside, but extremely cozy and welcoming. Staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing! They do have a bar inside as well. Salmon and chicken curry was to die for. Ceviche was super fresh and delicious. A definite must try! I will be going there again.

My wife and I enjoyed the curry chicken and the churrasco. A lot of food on both plates. Flan for desert was good as well. Pretty cool little outdoor seating area with some tropical looking plants. Service was a bit lacking – our original server was nice, but would rarely come back out to the table. Towards the end we had to request any server available to come give us our check since he never came back. A different server finally came over and dropped our check off without saying a word which was a bit strange. Good food but the service that night could use some work.

Food was amazing. Everything fresh and great flavor. You HAVE to try the arepas appetizer!!! I didn’t get a picture of that but everything was so nicely done. The atmosphere of the place is unique and beautiful. Also I appreciate that everything is labeled if it’s Gluten Free!

Had to update this review after last week’s take out experience. ALL the portion sizes were cut in half but cost the same $$. The most significant cuts were (1) the size of the Arepas de Pollo and (2) quantity of the Costilla de Res but even the serving of maduro was cut in half. I know times are tough but this was excessive shrinkflation. Likely won’t be going back for a while. Getting half of the expected portion for an almost $30 entree was a HUGE turn off. We understand but are not stupid. Note: The picture included is the normal potion size of the Costilla de Res.

Brasitas has amazingly delicious food and great drinks too! Went for happy hour drinks with some coworkers and had a wonderful time! Highly recommend this place. The plantain chips are served warm, they’re amazing! And the branzino was well cooked and very tasty! There are vegan options too!!

Based on the number of positive reviews, we decided to stop by for lunch and were super pleased that we did. Although we were only one of two couples eating lunch on this Monday afternoon at Brasitas, we were delighted with the authentic and quite delicious Latin American Cuisine.

Great food, amazing service. The staff were very friendly and provided heartfelt recommendations. I really enjoy a seeing the workers who have a favorite meal especially when asked “which would you order”. I love when they have an opinion, I get not everyone has the same taste but when a waiter says “that’s my favorite, you might not like it but I love it” to me that speaks volumes. Food was great, would eat here again and probably will.

I have visisted Brasitas in Stamford many times over the years when visiting. Just recenntly the first time since the pandemic. Great to visit again and great food. The Chicken curry dish was recommended to me and was delicious – and great spice level which was just what I was after. Never had a bad meal here. Staff are always super helpful.
