Social Profile:

Named by Robb Report as one of the Top 10 Best New Restaurants in the country, Brasero combines South American passion with midwestern grit and brings Chef John Manion’s talent for wood-fired Latin cooking to West Town’s bustling restaurant row. This sultry 120-seater draws inspiration from across Latin America, honed through Manion’s decades of experience. Think flame- roasted, whole young chickens slicked with garlic-chili oil, linquiça with mojo de ajo, and moqueca teeming with mussels, shrimp and coconut-scented rice—all washed down with quenching caipirinhas, locally brewed, Latin-inspired beer and 100 bottles of wine under 100 dollars.

So delicious and beautiful! Every dish was portioned well, and because of how good the food was, we finished everything. The drinks were also good and pretty. Service was great and we were well taken care of. I can’t stop thinking about the sweet potato, I want to come back!

Nice addition to the west town area. Food was overall pretty good, the bread as well as grilled oysters were excellent… It was nice to have an oyster shooter like this which was mildly cooked as opposed to overcooked like they typically are, flavor was excellent and texture closer to getting raw oysters which I really enjoyed. The pineapple habanero jam which came with the bread was honestly one of the most delicious jams I’ve ever had.

For the mains, the picanha steak was overall pretty good, as was the whole grilled branzino. Vibes and atmosphere were on point. Would come back here again.

Highly recommend. The ramen was very flavorful. We booked our table the night before, the restaurant was full and quite noisy. The staff are excellent at hospitality. The interior is nicely done with unique cutlery and utensils. A group of 5/6 people can go. Took around 15 mins to serve. The menu has a decent number of options, with flavorful tastes. Highly recommend it if you are looking for delicious food at a high price range. Paid parking.

Guys, I don’t know what else to say except it’s worth every bite. Each dish is thoughtfully designed, with flavors that are deliberate and very very beautifully balanced. Nothing overwhelms—no excess salt, fat, or acidity—just clean, harmonious flavors that let the ingredients shine.

The service is warm and genuinely approachable. Absolutely a place I’ll be returning to

What a fantastic experience! The food was full of flavor and fresh. The menu full of great options including a number of fish and veggie choices. Our server (Kat) was amazing: knowledgeable and passionate about what they were serving. The service overall was a clear team approach and equal parts warm and attentive. The space was cute and fresh. Very impressed!

The atmosphere at Brasero is a 5/5, dim lightning but still a bright/cozy feeling. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and the ancillary staff all provided excellent service. The oysters were amazing, well cooked and full of flavor, would definitely reccomend trying. The prawns lacked the smokey flavor that I expected and in my opinion lacked flavor. The entries are very generously sized. I had the Noodles, the dish was rich and flavorful but it felt like the brasero nuts overpowered it, scallops, claws, and shrimp were all cooked to perfection. Would try again in the future.

The food is really good. We choose the $90 per person meal. They will prepare for the food for you. The quality of food is good without a doubt. However, please be careful!!!!!! They will “charge your unnecessary fee” for their employees of course if you’re okay with that, it will be not a big deal. BUT i don’t think I will come back again! I can’t support this policy. Their service is not too bad but still can’t support this unnecessary fee?!

We had a great time trying the leap of faith menu. It was curated to our specific preferences and food allergies. It is on the pricier end but we left full and satisfied!
The wagyu picanha was so tender and flavorful, truly a must have.
The only negative were the table runners being a little too eager to clear plates even if we weren’t fully done they also seemed a little upset throughout the service.

This place was amazing. Everything was perfect. My brother invited my wife and I out for dinner. From the moment we got there everything went perfect. The host was very energetic and seemed like she likes her job. We were seated right away. Then the food came………… Wow was it amazing. The place itself was very clean everybody was very professional. Our waitress I think her name was Kat. She was great. A very big help with recommendations. Overall I will definitely come back oh and sunday’s happy hour is all night at the bar.

We were amazed by the food! We loved everything we ordered and were equally surprised by the side dish as well! Every dish was packed with flavors and different textures. The only thing that felt okay was the noodle. They are on the pricier side but both food and service lived up to the expectations.
