Wow! Have wanted to try this place for a few years and finally stopped in. It hits on everything — fresh meat and fish prepared perfectly, super warm service (making you feel like family on your first visit), and a warm/comfortable atmosphere. Our server Carolina was awesome – so generous and patient, answering all my parent’s questions and continuing to offer us sides, refills, etc. You will definitely leave with a full stomach!

This is the smaller of the two locations but still a great menu. There was plenty of meats to choose from, all kinds of steak and prime rib. Lots of seafood options and fish as well. Came here for the first time based on a recommendation and I was happy with the experience and the portions. Oh boy was I stuffed after ordering the picahna. Three steaks in one order. Potato three ways and veggies of the day. I would totally return just for the relaxed vibe and the waitress was very friendly. Service was a bit slow but it seems they get slammed on take out orders.

First of all, if it’s authentic Portuguese cuisine you’re looking for, you’re in the wrong place. That was our first disappointment. Anyway, we ordered a whole barbequed chicken. When it arrived, everything about it made it obvious that it had been cooked prior to our arrival and then reheated. Very dry. If that wasn’t disappointing enough, the dish where we had placed all of our chicken bones remained on our table throughout our entire meal. It was left right there throughout our desserts and coffee. We definitely won’t be back.

The cod fish was unsalted and grilled to dryness. The Grilled Calamari was tasteless, and the Caldo Verde lacks authentic Portuguese flavor.
The real issue at this place is service. The owner is extremely rude and disrespectful towards his patrons. Servers are courteous but very poorly trained, except for one waitress who tried to “damage control” the owners rudeness. There are better options out there when it comes to Portuguese cuisine.
