I ordered a small cheese calzone. It was a decent size for $11, but I think it was a bit “doughy” and lacked filling. The side of sause was kind of too small if you’re someone who likes a lot of sauce with their calzone. So, if you are, then order extra.

Instead of checking reviews, I ordered off a menu one of my co-workers had left at the office. The pizza arrived looking like and heated like it had just been removed from the freezer. To say it was “warm” would be generous, too generous. I’ve always said I’ve never met a pizza I didn’t like. I now need a new saying. Not hot, not even brown. Mostly tan….and unappetizing.

My boyfriend works out of town and was in CT for our anniversary. I called Branford Pizza and asked if they could do a pizza with pepperoni in the shape of a heart and deliver it to his hotel. They went above and beyond and shaped the whole pizza like a heart and wrote on the box! Boyfriend says the pizza is good and the people are definitely awesome!

Pizza wasn’t great. Cracker like crust. Dry. Garlic Knots were great but could use more sauce. Carrot cake and chocolate cake were very small portions. I won’t order from here again.

Just moved to town, had a craving for New Haven style pizza. It was ice storming so allot of places were closed, but I was VERY happy with Branford Pizza! Crust was suuuuppper thin, crispy at the top, foldable with excellent sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Very reasonable! Also ordered a ruben for the next day and this did NOT disaapoint! Even with reheat, it was DELICIOUS! Very generous corned beef, tangy sauce, plenty of kraut & cheese. FILLING! Came wrapped in foil so super easy 2nd dinner . Will absolutely order again. THANK YOU!!!

Got take out… have been getting food from branford pizza for 7 years always pretty consistent … Pizza is not as great as New Haven apizza, but it’s perfect for what it is. Just a simple neighborhood pizzeria…. One of the other reviews, a guy talked about his calzone and not getting enough sauce. I got a calzone small came with nice big container of sauce was delicious…. ordered a cheesesteak calzone sample appetizer platter and a salad and can of coke with delivery for $50. Couldn’t beat that.

Ordered from here and have several times but got two completely different pizzas the last order. When I called back to rectify the issue the manager on duty was very rude and told me “Thats what I ordered” and that “they were too busy to correct it and would give me a refund” that was Friday. Still no refund to have to order from another place to get the correct pizza. This is not the day and age to waste peoples hard earned money no matter if its .10 cents or $100.
UPDATE: Still no refund so basically donated to this place and my trash can!

I don’t know about other people’s experiences with this place but mine so far were fine. Nice place run by two chill elderly people who make some good pizza for good prices. Pizza exceeded my expectations for its price and wings were very good. Ordered through phone and picked it up; everything was right. Besides all of the terrible reviews mostly from delivery orders, pick ups are good.
