It’s one of my favorite places to eat in the Black Hills.
Same owner at the Merc on the east side of the highway. Bar food, including house made pizza and wine and beer.
Well stocked convenience store with merchandise and off-site alcohol sales.

Their pastas are great. My daughter had the Mac N cheese and that is homemade and delicious. The burgers are decent and the brisket sandwich was alright, a little fatty/chewy for my liking. The atmosphere of the place was great with tons of outdoor seating too. Great service. Was a great stop on our way out of Nemo.

Love this place! Cozy, service was good, just a nice place out in the middle of nowhere. Great to stop when hiking, trail riding, or snowmobiling. Food was excellent, burgers can even be cooked medium. Winner for me, will definitely be back.

This place was awesome. Staff was friendly and efficient. “Hole in the wall” style with great food. The first place I’ve had a steak cooked actually rare, like I asked for it to be. The prices during the rally were lower than anywhere we had been.

Would love to know. Google said open until 9pm. Got there at 7:15pm and it was a ghost town. Called to make sure I had the hours right, vm says open until 9pm, no one answered. My assumption is that they close at 7pm like a lot of other places, but maybe they are out of business? I’m a bit annoyed because we went 20min out of the way to get there and then other places that were actually open closed at 8pm and we didn’t have enough time to get there. 45min later got to an open restaurant in rapid city. Love to try the food and give a better review. Maybe next time. Please update your hours.

Just reopened in May of 2019 under NEW MANAGEMENT. We went for dinner last night and everything was delicious! I had the lobster mac and cheese which was amazing!!! The service was excellent, too! We would highly recommend checking it out!

Opening night 4.25.24! Ribs are phenomenal! Wife had brisket sandwich and loved it! Portions are huge so come hungry!!! Definite worth the trip. Very reasonable prices considering the portion sizes and quality. Also loved the atmosphere. It was busy but we had no problem hearing each other as we visited.
