This place doesn’t deserve five stars…. THEY DESERVE AN INFINITE AMOUNT OF STARS! As a trucker, I’ve been to many, and I mean many little “hole-in-the-wall” shops across this county. Nothing pales in comparison to Brandin’ Iron! The inside of this place just makes you feel as if you’re in the old midwest. Service was beyond great! And the food…. I can’t even describe how good, how delicious, how amazing it was! Well, I could, but Google might take down my review. I will definitely be back here again!!!

I was visiting family from out of town & they took us here! Great place. Historic building is awesome! Decorations are also very impressive! Quite a large choice of menu options. The staff was super friendly & the food was good! Definitely give it a try!

The spacious and welcoming restaurant is on the first floor of a grand 1884 three-story native limestone Opera House. Windmill blades rotating slowly on the high ceiling add to the charm and history of this delightfully fun restaurant. A great menu, a full bar, and a witty/enjoyable wait staff all combined to provide an experience well worth the drive to this 151-year old former railroad town at the junction of US 50 & US 77. Our table enjoyed the Steak and Blue Salad; the Apple and Cranberry Salad with grilled chicken, pecans and herbed goat cheese; and burgers served with fries and an especially delicious house-made pasta salad. We will return! Check out the limestone houses on 8th Street.

This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to we randomly stopped in this random town and ate here and it’s the best service I have ever gotten with the best cooks making the most perfect food. The fried food (I had fried pickles and onion rings) and so good it’s good batter used and all the food is really good quality. This deserves more than 5 stars and everyone should come here it’s amazing. The drinks come in cute jars and there are flavors (vanilla, cherry, and peach) that you could add into a soda or tea and it’s so good. There is a pink sauce that was AMAZING. That’s the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant I HAD to write a review which I normally never do. Jesus loves you so much He died for you on the cross He is waiting for you with open arms

My wife and I ate at Brandin’ Iron for our anniversary yesterday. We had to readjust plans last minute and found out about this place last minute. My mom grew up in Florence and I have fond memories of playing at my grandparents house growing up.

We called ahead and placed an order to go! BRANDON stayed open later until we could get there from Emporia…the FOOD was amazing…we had a ribye and sirloin with sides and dessert everything was absolutely fabulous! Thank you so much for making it a very special date night for my wife and I!

I have no hesitation in recommending the Brandin’ Iron. It is a squeaky clean place and the food was awesome. Prices are not that expensive either. You definitely get your money’s worth!
