We really enjoyed my birthday lunch at Branded Chophouse. They had a birthday card for me and Kaya our waitress was absolutely amazing! She was attentive to our needs and very quick to respond, even with a large party!

The food was exquisite, especially the crab dip, Brie appetizer and the salmon and pea risotto! Highly recommend! The chef even came out to our table to check in on us and gave my neice her own unique dessert. It was very special!

Thank you for your amazing service! We will definitely be back!

I gotta say, this place is a gem. Great food & cocktails, decent prices (especially for Happy Hour between 4-6pm.) The service was also top-notch. I had a very perfectly made petit fillet, and my wife had the blackened chicken alfredo. Both were tasty and well seasoned. They also make an impressive Old Fashioned. Can’t say enough good things, it’s well worth a visit up.

I’d give 10 stars if I could! This place is double the flavor, double the dining experience. Perfectly priced for the incredible quality and environment: zero screaming children and an open kitchen 🙂 Greetings from the door felt like family, my server had the best attitude towards our dietary needs and made the best recommendations! The food runner didn’t leave before we were set up like kings, and the bartender was so knowledgeable including non-alcoholic offerings that really made me feel like there is a place at the table for everyone! I will have dreams over this food and environment until I can come back. Even the marketing team stopped by and ensured our confidence in the location’s endless possibilities. Whew! I need a nap now. This is how dining out is meant to be.

Really love the space and vibe of the restaurant/bar. The food was good, but if I’m being honest, there wasn’t anything that blew my socks off. I repeat the food was…just…….good. The Georgia margarita was great, but the mojito was…..not so great.

The staff was nice, attentive, and the restaurant is very clean and easy to find parking. Would recommend to at least try a new place.

They have really good pizza and mozzarella sticks and I’d assume all the food is very tasty. Had snow bird beer which also is a good flavoring drink but just like the pizza you’re going to pay $$ for it. The menu is confusing for the staff so you have to explain everything.

Worst dining experience ever. What a joke. Let me tell you first, I have worked in fine dining and casual fine dining as a server. I no longer do that, but I was trained well and consider to be a professional .

My family and I went for Valentines and our experience was terrible. One of the worst dining experiences of my life.
My first red flag , we had a reservation and when seated, far in the back and the table wasn’t ready for 4 people. I had to ask the hostess for more silverware and a later a wine menu. Then our appetizer came before our drinks and the server gave us plates after the fact. Not to mention the sever carried our drinks hugging to her body, gross. Don’t you have trays?

Our $18 dip came with 5 slices of small baguette and we were charged for extra bread. What is there a bread shortage? We were ignored for most of the time, and then we placed our orders, and 40 minutes later while my husband and I were waiting for our entrees, and my kids were eating, the server came back and told me that they were out of my entree. Isn’t there any communication with the kitchen and back of the house? So unprofessional.

I was so annoyed that I don’t want to order anything else, and said I didn’t want to wait and to share my husbands entree that wee were still waiting for. Instead of asking, it was brought to our table in a to go box.

Instead of the server making sure we were ok. She kept saying sorry we are really busy. That’s bs, because we were paying a lot of money for overpriced food. I could work circles at her and waited on more people at a time than her. So inefficient and slow.

I finally tracked down the manager because she didn’t. I would asked him to go out table if guests were unhappy. He managed to get our meals right away and comped my dinner, as he should.

If you are going to charge that much for meals , you should have servers that know how to serve in a casual dining environment. If not, then they need to go back to Cracker Barrel. We will never eat there again.

My boyfriend and I went to try Branded Chophouse for the first time for a nice Valentine’s dinner last night (Friday February 13th, 2026 – reservation for 6:30pm). I was so excited to have a nice date night with a cute Valentine’s Day special menu that required a reservation. Parking was a disaster. Walking in, we saw the front dining area was packed and filled with families. We assumed we would be sitting in this front dining area, but instead we were taken into this weird unfinished back room with no ambiance besides 2 TVs with videos of a fireplace. No silverware was on our table, but we assumed it would be brought later with our food. Very odd, but we appreciated that it was separated from the families and was a lot more quiet. We were sat in this weird sort of party room that clearly was not finished, with no music going. It was so awkward for the 5 other couples that were sat back here as well. It took around 15 minutes for our server to come buy to take our orders, but during this time, we started to hear some problems the surrounding tables were having. I ordered the Strawberry Daiquiri off the Valentine’s Day Drink Menu, which took 15 minutes to arrive. When she brought the drink, we ordered our Baked Brie Appetizer ($14), and 2 entrees – the Blackened Chicken Alfredo ($22) with a side caesar salad ($10, which is crazy) and the 8oz Filet with Veg of the Day and Mashed Potatoes ($52 – also crazy). It took another 30 minutes for our Brie appetizer, still no silverware. My SIDE salad was also brought at this time, even though I was hoping it would come out with my entree. This happened to everyone else around us who ordered a side salad as well. We asked for the person who brought the Brie (not our server) to bring us some silverware and she said she would be right back. Spoiler alert – she did not come right back with silverware. It took another 15 minutes for someone to finally come back and check on all of the couples there, where we asked a second time for silverware. We did finally get our silverware, but at this point our appetizer was cold. The server offered to reheat it for us, but we said no, thinking it would take another 30 minutes. It might’ve taken another 45 minutes for our actual entrees to come out. During this time, we noticed how many times we had runners come up to the tables in our area and asked each and every one of us “did anyone order this?” like they never knew where they were taking the food they were running. Additionally, another couple was brought back to a newly opened table, and unfortunately had to wait for a good 25 minutes for someone to even speak to them, and a server only walked up because another couple spoke up to their OWN server to let her know that that table hadn’t been seen and it had been close to 30 minutes since they sat down. Once we finally got our meal around an hour and a half after our reservation time, the food was not what we expected for how much we paid. The chicken on the Alfredo was amazing, but the Alfredo sauce was plain. The filet was good, cooked well, but the sides were kind of meh. We had no issues with the food. Our waitress came up again and asked if we needed anything else and if we were interested in a dessert menu. I ordered the White Chocolate and Strawberry Martini and we asked to look at the menu, just to see if anything looked appetizing. It took my second drink another 20 minutes to be brought to me and we were told the only dessert they have was the Peach Cobbler dessert, everything else was sold out. We said no thanks, and asked for the check. At this point, we were so frustrated at how long our wait had been when we had a reservation. Took another 10 minutes to get our check and another 10 get out. We spent 2 and a half hours at this place and even though the food was ok and our waitress was doing her very best for the amount of people there, we will not be coming back unfortunately. For the prices we paid, we expected better service. Unfortunately this event was very unorganized and definitely overbooked.

Booked reservations for Valentine’s dinner a month in advance. We were seated at 7pm which was our reservation time. Our server was very nice and tried her best to be accommodating. Drinks came out in a timely manner. We ordered an appetizer and two dinners. Appetizer took an hour to come out. Then after we ordered, we were told there were no more short ribs. Then that there were no more filets. So had to change our dinner twice. Dinner was not at our table until 9pm. Dinner arrived and mine was cold, so I sent it back and they did fix it pretty quick. I expected something to be taken off our bill but never was. I don’t think we will be going back. However the place next door was great for drinks and we will be over there to try their dinner service!

Some dining experiences are enjoyable — and then some completely reset your expectations. ChopHouse in Boonsboro, MD firmly belongs in the latter category.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck that rare balance between elevated and welcoming. Every detail felt intentional, setting the stage for what turned out to be an exceptional meal.

The food was nothing short of outstanding. Each dish arrived beautifully presented, perfectly prepared, and layered with flavor that made you slow down and truly savor every bite. You can tell this is a kitchen that takes pride in its craft — not just cooking food, but creating an experience.

What truly elevated the evening, however, was the waitstaff. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely warm throughout the entire meal. That level of service transforms a great restaurant into a memorable one.

If you are anywhere near Boonsboro and appreciate remarkable food paired with impeccable service, ChopHouse is absolutely worth the visit. This is not just dinner — it’s the kind of place you leave already planning your return.

We were quite disappointed with today’s visit with the Sunday brunch menu at approximately noon on Sunday 1/18/26

Our appetizer took a long time to get to the table. We ordered the crab dip. I had to inquire if it was on the way and a few minutes later it arrived. It was very good, it seemed to be over mixed though as there were no real chunks of crab meat. It was hot and had plenty of gooey cheese on top and the portion was correct.

We ordered the BYO burger with two patties and rare cooked, with pepper jack. The server returned a short time later saying they were out of pepper jack, they were also out of cheddar. We also ordered the peach crumb French toast but with a waffle instead of French toast.

We ordered a mocktail as well and it was so sour it was undrinkable which our server removed from the bill. The person ordering it is not a person who orders sweet or sugar added drinks(they did not request any sweetener to be withheld) so if they thought it was sour, then it was really sour. I tasted it and it was like drinking straight lemon juice with orange in it.

The burgers were over cooked, it was more medium than rare or medium rare. It was just slightly pink in the center. For a steak house not to be able to cook a burger to perfection is a real red flag.

The peach crumb waffle had no cream or crumble just sliced peaches and I had to ask for the syrup. The glaze on the peaches was good (cinnamon and I think some nutmeg maybe). The peaches were fresh I believe, but really under ripe ( while I did not expect them to be summer ripe, I expected something a little more flavorfull) But the waffle was pitiful, it was more pizzelle like, very thin and dry. I wouldn’t even call it a waffle. (Edited Added) The more I think about it, I think what they did was take a piece of french toast and put it in the waffle iron, instead of making a real waffle. They had chicken and waffles on the menu as well so I assume they make real waffles for the chicken and waffles – thats the reason I asked to substitute a waffle instead of french toast.

We tried to get dessert and the server brought a tray to show us the desserts. We both chose the Banana blonde. However a short time later the server returned saying they were out of the banana Blondie. So no Dessert.

The only thing I can say I really I felt like aligned with the hype of the place was the crab dip. At some point we will give a second chance and try the streaks/dinner course, but 1st visit did not instill confidence of a successful 2nd visit.

The server was polite and I have no personal complaint with the server. No issues with the facility.
