I’m from Illinois and stopped in here while on a family trip. The food and service was absolutely amazing. I had the vodka pasta and it was truly the best I ever had. My son and husband had a pepperoni pizza and it was delicious! Very thin and crispy. My husband is originally from the area and always has to get pizza any time we are in New York. Our waitress was so kind and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Spinach Cannelloni w/white sauce was outstanding. Save some of the bread you get for dipping in that sauce. The rim of crusted cheese………. forget about it.

Branchinelli’s doesn’t look like much on the outside but that whole, “don’t judge a book by its cover” proverb fits quite well in this regard.
Speaking of which, if I am to partake in Italian dining, I figured what better book to read here than ‘The Godfather’? “Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” I was actually going to order a cannoli until I saw the price of my meal: Chicken Parmigiana with Ziti alla Vodka. Next time I’ll order a cannoli though. Even though the prices are higher than what I’m used to, the portion sizes are very large, larger than another pizza place I frequent. That Chicken Roll was almost the size of a small chicken. It made the other pizza place’s Chicken Roll look like a hot dog in comparison.
I never had Chicken Parmigiana so I have no other experience to compare it to but it’s definitely my new favorite dish and I will be asking for it at the other pizza places I frequent to see if they can measure up to the standard of Branchinelli’s. I did get a Chicken Roll to go, which is what I usually get at the other places, but I also can’t give a good enough review of that since I ate it a day later, not fresh. The portion sizes are so large that I ate the Chicken Parmigiana and Ziti for both lunch and dinner.
Regarding the wait time and staff: no complaints from me. I didn’t have to wait too long for my meal and the staff was friendly and patient. The atmosphere was welcoming and you didn’t have that feeling you have at some places where you want to just get your food and get out as quickly as possible. It was a relaxing enough environment to enjoy reading in.
I definitely recommend this place and I will be returning soon for my cannoli.

One of our favorite spots to grab casual dinner with the family. Service is good and price is pretty good too. The chicken parmigiana dinner comes with choice of soup or salad or pasta. Pasta Fagoli is some of the best around reminds me of my Nana’s. Go check it out they don’t take reservations but even on busy nights the wait is no longer than 15-20 mins.

I love this establishment. They have the best pizza. The sauce on the pizzas is impeccable. Sometimes I go there to dine inside. The waiters and waitresses are all friendly. They have lots of delicious choices on the menu.

I am probably biased as coming back to Long Island, my home for a good part of my life, must include Branchinelli’s.
The veal parmigiana always perfect in both taste and portion and since leaving I try to find the replacement. Yet to be found.
What I love most is you can experience a nice casual sit down meal or order one fantastic pizza to your liking. Until next time…

Branchinelli’s Pizza & Restaurant is a solid local choice for reliable Italian comfort food in a casual setting. The portions are quite generous, making it a good value for families. The Chicken Marsala is a satisfying dinner pick, and their thin-crust pizza remains a consistent staple.

Was pretty unhappy with my server. Very inattentive, not cheerful or even interactive at all. My mom loves this place, so we took her for her birthday. The server hardly said hello. At some point we literally mentioned we were there for mom’s birthday because she loves the place; the woman said “Oh. Are you ready to order?” Like…not even a quick happy birthday? Nothing? After dropping off the food, she disappeared and never checked in with us again. After a while, she came over out of nowhere and practically threw leftover containers and the check on our table. Didn’t say thank you for coming or anything. Honestly, I shouldn’t have even tipped after that.
The food was all great. I see why Mom likes the place, but I’m never coming back because of the service.

Moved from Nassau County and Huntington Village to Smithtown. Looking for a good slice. Although , I haven’t tried the dishes , I tried the pizza and its different. For myself, it was soggy, lift the slice up and everything falls off. The crust wasn’t crispy very soft. Many places around the area, in Suffolk are the same. It has to be crispy firm. biting into a crispy bread crust. Cooked. My choices in Suffolk are Rosa’s in Huntington Village, and Carlos’s Pizza in Manorville. Again. It’s up to the individual. but a good crust for me is a must.Working in N.Y.C and the boroughs, the pizza is good. Nassau has good spots as well, few but good. Bake bread first then add toppings. If it isn’t firm it isnt good. All the best to them. I’m sure their meals are great as reviewed. Be well.

purchased a pie w chicken, $10 for a topping, inflated price….pizza had hair in it, will not be going back. I didn’t find it so great either, also, not such a clean environment. I had to wait 4 min t o find out the price. will stick with mamma sabaros, cleaner, way better price, and way better food. would not recommend branchinellis. not sure what the hype is.
