The bread making tradition started in the 1970’s with his Uncle Bill in California, but Brad has brought the love of baking handmade bread – and connecting with neighbors – right here to Sioux County. Just like with Uncle Bill, all our bread is made with the care, consistency and quality that you only get from an artisan baker. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning visit to Brad’s Bakery Bistro in Orange City, Iowa! My almond croissant and my husband’s pecan sticky bun were both great! We bought an almond torte to take home. We chatted with Brad who was super friendly and helped us find what we were looking for. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming. I’ll definitely stop by again when driving through the area. ❤️

Amazing local bakery/bistro with so many good options – went with the brioche breakfast sandwich which was the bomb! Great selection of teas – went with the white vanilla grapefruit – and finished it off with a personal carrot cake. Everything was fabulous! They have a lot of options but definitely a must stop and a great way to start RAGBRAI!

Brad’s Bakery Bistro is a great place for rich coffee, hand-crafted drinks, and freshly made food. There’s a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, and breakfast options. Lots of flavors for coffee drinks (hot and cold) and smoothies, etc. It’s a quiet coffee shop so it’s a great gathering place for good conversations and getting together with a group of friends. I come in once a week to get out of the office and I’m never distracted by excessive noise or anything like that. Lots of college students come here, too, to study or have group discussions or just meet with friends. The staff is very friendly and very helpful–the good people that work here are the biggest reason I keep coming back. Keep up the good work and thanks for everything!

Cute place to visit. Food items are always fresh and tasty. Many items to choose from. Kids always enjoy picking out different flavors of macaroons. Coffee is always good. Higher end shop, so it is a little pricey but always worth it.

We came here for lunch, I had a bacon apple cheddar croissant and oh my word, I swear they took the croissant fresh out of the oven, bacon was thick cut, it was so delicious. I also ordered a dirty Chai latte, with cute latte art, and we got adorable desserts. Everything is just lovely about this place.
