Delicious food! The mussels were a bit spicy, but love them. The croquettes spume was very interesting. The short rib and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. That lamb almost melted in your mouth. The bar area looked more interesting than the dining area. The dining area feels a bit sterile, needs a bit more.of ambiance and the chairs.of.the table are a bit low. If you are not very tall sit in the tables with the regular chairs.

We went here for restaurant week. It was a 3 course dinner for $50 each. I had the heirloom tomato salad, spinach gnocchi, and the chocolate cake with ice cream. Everything was delicious!! And I appreciated how quick everything came out. The wait staff were also very attentive and friendly. Overall, a very nice dinner experience. I’ll need to come for brunch sometime!

We went for Alexandria Restaurant Week, the atmosphere was really nice, simple but elegant, lovely and calm.
I particularly recommend the mussels, they were extremely good as well as the steak frites. The macarons dessert was great, very large portions.
The service was attentive and friendly. The food was really very very good, we all really enjoyed what we ordered.

Overall great service and food. Had the special of the night and loved the seafood pasta. I got to try a friend’s wagyu burger and that was delicious but a little overcooked. I don’t drink wine but they seem to have a good selection of wines to pair up with your food.

We went for restaurant week, and it was definitely a good deal! One of our meals was better than the other, but overall no complaints. They were out of a few of the wines we wanted, but the wine selection was fabulous! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff were all wonderful and extremely nice! We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice hotel restaurant that has traditional breakfast/brunch options. The staff was very nice and the food was good. The restaurant seems to great a job with large parties as well and there were multiple dining there during our stay.

Looking for a great place to eat and this hit the bulls eye! Excellent drinks, made an excellent ‘mocktail’ then had a meat/cheese board and pork patte’. The mussels and scallops were cooked perfectly and wrapped it up in a big way with the creme’ brûlée; also took a few macaroons home to go :-). A++!

For the money it does not provide the impact I would expect. Service staff is attentive but not overly so. The demographic and regular audience of the space is what it is so when our party sat down to order the slightly condescending tone from the server was unappreciated.
If you’d like to spend some time in Alexandria Old Town ish area this would be a decent spot but I’m not sure why some many reviews rave about this place. Our party did order a lot of stuff and out of all that, the gnocchi probably the most disappointing as the gnocchi was slightly over sized and texture was off.
At an establishment like this I would expect scotch/whisky spheres or cubes but alas the did not have those here. It also seems like they measure their pours as my double burbon was… sad
I ordered the lamb shank and it was good but you won’t be wowed by it’s easy flavors, it’s just a solid choice. Wife liked her scallops and you’re paying for the U-10 size premium.
Red velvet baked Alaska dessert was overly soaked in alcohol which overpowered the cake, meringue, and ice cream. The icecream was the best part which says a lot about that dish. Lighting up the dessert is amusing.

**Great Service, Great Food**
After coming here around 6:30pm, the restaurant had a great vibe. The appearance is well lit and very clean. The service was very organized and presentable. Servers were very experienced and presented the specials for the day. The food was a bit spicy, but one of the most amazing foods I’ve ever had along with the drink and dessert. The price was a bit high, but don’t let that ward you away.
**Overall, the great food and service is worth paying for.**

Brabo is our favorite restaurant in Alexandria! Better than other French restaurants we’ve tried in the DC area. We’ve been several times and everything is superb – steak, scallops, beef bourguignon, duck. So much flavor and cooked to perfection. Also a great spot for cocktails we’ve only been for dinner but would love to try their brunch!
