I can’t thank Darren and his amazing team enough for catering our wedding hosted in Black River Falls in July. One of our top compliments from the wedding was the food, everything was so flavorful and delicious. Darren was so responsive leading up to the wedding answering any questions we had and always so friendly. I did not worry about anything food related because I knew we were in good hands. I can’t recommend BP Smokehouse BBQ enough, thank you for making the best day of our lives smooth and tasteful :))

This is a must stop if you are in the area. Great BBQ. Loved the brat, brisket was amazing and chicken also great. Highly recommend the baked beans, green beans (crazy good), corn muffin and the collards. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wish I lived in the area. Would be there all the time.

Great place to eat! Delicious smoked meats, collard greens, fries, and more. Wonderful sauce (although the amount of sauce is definitely skimpy). I’m celiac so haven’t tried any sandwiches, but getting the meat by the pound or just requesting no bread works well. Minimal interior but it works. I’ve never visited when the place was very busy so service is pretty quick, though you may need to ring for someone to come out. Service is friendly if not effusive. Definitely recommended for a great Southern meal!

Got an order to go. The rib tips were tough and dry. They weren’t true rib tips but just chopped up ribs. The sides of collard greens and green beans were good and I liked the sauce.

Food temp was very hot, temperature wise. If you’re not super impatient and hungry like me today and can let it cool down before eatting, you’ll be fine. Other than that this place is awesome highly recommend! Ill be back for sure!

I give this place 5 stars. Mostly based on the atmosphere and how welcoming the staff was when we visited.
Good ribs, good beans, they may be a bit to saucy for me however, and I did not like the corn muffin, but that may be a preference.
Ribs had a good smoky flavor to them. The BBQ sauce was on the side which was good. It allows you to eat the ribs in their dry rub form, or sauce them up as you see fit.
The staff who was helping us, came by to see how we liked the food and if everything was going well.
He told us about the 3 large smokers they had and how many pounds of meat they are able to smoke per day.
This is a good and cozy spot if you want BBQ in the Tomah Wisconsin area.
I would go back.

The sandwich I got was delicious, BBQ sauce was the perfect amount of thick, and the caramelization on the outer edge of each of the slices of meat was fantastic even just to look at the coloring and depth of it. Was even better to chow down on though. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner very rational and kind person person. The reason I always like to eat somewhere local!!

Very nice restaurant. We came here for dinner. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich with green beans. I had the brisket with a side order of collard greens. Both meals were delicious! My first time having collard greens and was impressed with how they were made. Great place to dine in or take out. Thank you!!

You order at the desk and they bring you the food. BBQ was very good. Our table had Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Brisket, and Brats. All were very tasty. BBQ sauce was good but nothing special. We ordered our food without buns as we cannot eat white bread and it came with them anyway. Not hard to remove the meat, but it was a waste of the buns. Baked beans were good but nothing special. Green beans were not very good at all. Didn’t seem like they were fresh. Corn bread was very tasty and moist. I wanted butter and honey for the cornbread and was given melted butter, not sure if there was honey in it or not. A little strange but not bad. Servers reminded customers to remove their trays and dispose of their own garbage. I didn’t mind, but seemed a little off to ask when they were standing there. All and all it was a nice place to eat.
