Born in Foggia, Italy, Lucio “Lou” Bozzelli co-founded with his brother, Tony, what was originally known as “Bozzelli’s Brothers Deli. Their business philosophy was simple: SERVE. GOOD. FOOD. Initially, the menu was limited to cold Italian sub sandwiches because they could not afford a grill. Through word of mouth, the only form of advertising the believed in, their business started to grow and as their budding operation improved they expanded the menu to include hot food like steak subs and pizza. Lou’s brother, Tony, continued to operate the business after Lou’s passing in 1989. To honor Lou’s legacy, his wife and children looked to the stars for inspiration–hence, the spaceman–and relaunched the shop and have now grown to five stores.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was just as great! I really liked how they had board games for kids to play while waiting for the food — such a nice touch that makes it feel welcoming for families. The food is always delicious and FRESH! On the pizzas there are real vegetables, mushrooms and good tomatoes. The lasagna is excellent, so many people want it that they run out mid day. Place an early online order to make sure you get one. The desserts are delicious, especially the tres leches cake and tiramisu. We drive about 20 minutes to pick up their food, bypassing many chains. Bozzeli’s is the real deal!

20240927 Came here with my coworkers. To be fair, by the time I arrived [late], the pizzas were cold. I added a star to this review because I assume the warm pizzas would be a lot better. The pizza was pretty good, but it is not the best I had. I ate a slice from the 4 pizzas on the table. I was pretty hungry . There was 1 pizza that stood out. The cheese had a funny taste. Fortunately, I got a slice that didn’t have a lot of cheese or meat on it. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t get that pizza again…. AS IT TURNED OUT… it was a Vegan Pizza!!! Fake cheese, fake meat!! No wonder the cheese tasted funny! I’m a true believer of… don’t make or eat anything that looks like animal products if it is vegan. I tried their fresh lemonade with grapes, and thin apple and lemon slices. My first sip of the lemonade was pretty much all sugar. Thanks to my coworker who suggested stirring it. Ah!! So much better!! I can taste the lemon juice. It’s still pretty sweet, but I like it that way. I would get the lemonade again. I brought back a steak and cheese with fries for my friend at work, and he seemed to like it. The fries smelled so good in my car. If I were to come back, I would probably try another menu item.. especially their soup that looked delicious in the photo. I should have checked out their menu. The lady who took my order was very friendly.

I got a delivery so my atmosphere was in my home. The gluten free pizza I ordered was wonderful, as usual. However, I would have liked a dessert and there were no gf desserts on the menu. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars on the food.

Love Love Love. Place was a hit with the whole family. Picked it solely based on prior reviews and was not disappointed. We had a variety of subs and they tasted like subs from childhood- you know, from before we legally argued what a sub shop could call bread? The bread was perfect and the filling substational. Service was kind and fast. Atmosphere was clean and chill. They have daily wine tastings and board games to play. I am going to try a breakfast pizza next time.

I used to go to this place when I was a kid over 30 years ago, so I decided to try out their “new” location. I was NOT disappointed. Their food remains absolutely amazing. The staff was super friendly and very courteous. The food came out very fast and was amazing! I left with a few bottles of champagne to top it all off!!
