Passed this place many times and seen the parking lot empty so decided to try em for a lunch/dinner meal. I have high standards when it comes to Mexican food because of my lineage and have to take a bow to the chefs. Food was authentic and tasty. Got a mango margarita and the chicarron and guacamole app. The skins came out crispy and still crackling . Wife got steak taco dinner(she ate 2!). I tried the Tostada dinner w/ chorizo and a torta milanesa de rey breaded steak for a side treat. The tostadas were great and piled high with extras. The sandwich cooked perfectly, crispy meat and toasted bread. I even ate the beans and rice. Which I never do. Elote cup was ok. Chef should char the elote first tho. 4 star place. Love these authentic little places. I will definitely be going back for more. Thank you for the great meal Boyos take my money!!! Best Mexican food in St John!!!!

First time trying out the food. I don’t think it’s aunthenthic because the green salsa was watered down. The shrimp langostinos tasted like ketchup had no spice. The steak torta tasted like it was cooked in the same grill as the shrimp and it was salty. I am sorry I never leave bad reviews but are the cooks even tasting the food they are cooking. Hopefully you tell them so they can fix things. I do not wish bad business on anyone.

In my opinion, this place was fantastic. I ordered the carne asada dinner and it was incredible. The flavor was amazing and the size of the meat compared to other Mexican restaurants was huge! The rice and beans both had great flavor also. That almost never happens. My husband had a steak burrito and he loved it as well. The strawberry margarita also did not disappoint. Overall, this is one of the best Mexican places we’ve tried lately and well be back soon for sure!

First time here with some friends last night. We wanted to catch up so we didn’t order right away. Our server was so great! She didn’t rush us and respected our time. The restaurant’s atmosphere was perfect for having a conversation with friends.
