Located in the heart of Charlottesville, Virginia, on The UVA Corner. We are a multi-level, sports bar, with a spacious patio and a one-of-a-kind experience. We serve the coldest drinks and the BEST burgers in town. At Boylan Heights, our main goal is to provide a completely guilt-free burger. We offer only the finest organic beef from local Virginia and Maryland farms. The meat is dry aged for 21-26 days to further deepen the flavor and our beef is ground fresh daily. It is naturally raised Angus, hormone and antibiotic-free, grass fed and most importantly — healthy! Don’t worry there are no quizzes, test, and no grades — just quality American food, made the best way we know how. We’ve saved you a seat!

It was our first time having lunch at Boylan Heights with the family, and we really enjoyed it. We loved the open-air atmosphere — it was so nice to enjoy a meal while feeling the breeze and watching a basketball game on TV.
The kids were especially excited to see a train go by — that was a fun and unexpected highlight for them!
One small thing: The vegetarian burger I had that day was a bit dry and harder than what I’ve had elsewhere. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s usually served, but it didn’t affect our overall great experience.
We’ll definitely be back again!

Very poor service, upstairs especially. Bartenders would only pay attention to friends, regulars, and women. I stood at the bar for 20+ minutes waiting to be served, only to be passed over for the aforementioned people. I would cut them some slack for being busy, but if anyone he preferred would come to the bar they’d be served almost instantly. He was also taking shots with the regulars which is illegal. When I was finally served (I had to demand attention to be noticed) I had to order enough for a couple hours and close out because I did not want to come back. This is likely the poorest service I’ve received at any bar. The bartender was either working with bad intent or was cognitively impaired. He could barely slap the drinks together. Consider making staff changes. Me and my group will not be returning.

Miserable experience. Was with friends upstairs and we were consistently ignored for 20-30 minutes by the bartenders as they were greeting their friends. The tall male bartender with the black hair and black beard even was welcoming his friends behind the bar and taking shots with them as numerous patrons were attempting to order drinks. I’m fairly sure this is not legal and I will be contacting ABC. Will never be returning here and will absolutely encourage all of my friends to never come to this joke of an establishment.

It’s a sports bar… Food is great pub grub. Well done and served fast even when super busy (UVA parents weekend). Our server was covering the entire 2nd floor and did a great job. Management jumped to help. A lot of TVs with all the games. Fun vibes.

Chicken was moist and flavorful with a light and crispy breading. I had the BOMB or burger of the month, called Kickin’ Chicken, which is fried chicken on a brioche roll topped with Cole slaw and aioli with hot sauce on the side. My wife had the loaded nachos, which were very good. They made a grill cheese sandwich on good bread for my son. It was terrific—he ate both halves. A bit noisy so we ate outside.

Visiting UVA. Decided to have lunch on the corner. Boylan was great. Started with draft beers with many to choose from. Easy choice on the appetizer with cheese sticks. They were the same cheese sticks you get at just about every bar, tasty but nothing special.
We did two build-to-order burgers. They were juicy, good flavor and cooked just right. Nice fresh toppings. One also ordered from their brunch menu. Great sandwich.
Our server was a little stretched because they were busier than expected but she worked very hard to take good care of everyone.
Will definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Fun first visit to UVA and “the corner.”

I came here for a quick bite and drink to sit out and enjoy the sun. The waitress was very nice. Beer selection was a decent mix of a few locals and commercial beers. Wings were good and so were the “Afternoon Special” chicken bites.

Overall experience was awesome. We tried wahoo for our drinks. Room 121 for our burgers. Curly fries were awesome too. The servers were very friendly and overall distanced tables and the fact that they opened all the walls to ventilate the area was also a plus. During this pandemic I recommend this place because they are doing what they can to keep the people and the area safe. I loved the fact that hand sanitizers were placed in middle so you can always use it. Thank you also Aimee for making awesome experience =)

Great meaty burgers, but I prefer Riverside lunch overall for Cville burgers. Had a Room 121 w double beef. Beef ever so slightly dry and/or overcooked for my liking but still great. Curly fries delicious. Huge serving. A few beers and watched the NBA east finals game 1. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. A few times they forgot to put the sound on and had music on instead – i like the idea of putting on music during ad breaks though. Massive big screen and a number of other standard screens. Great college vibe.
