We had a vegan burrito and vegan burrito bowl. Vegan sour cream is on point. The burrito and bowl were delicious. The burrito has a crispy outside and stays together easily. Small small suggestion is to melt the vegan cheese in the burrito (but also prolly a little challenging given vegan cheese doesn’t melt easily).

Everything was great! I ordered a veggie burrito for take out and it was delicious! Came with salsas and hot sauces. They had to many vegan options for protein and even had vegan cheez & sour cream! The decor is so fun. Cheech & Chong everywhere! The employees were very attentive and friendly. Can’t imagine a better burrito place.

I LOVE getting their chipotle steak bowl with Maui Waui sauce. Add the lime and two salsas that come with your bowl—perfection. A great GF option in Rochester. The place itself has music blaring way too loud and it can take a hot second for them to prep the food but it’s worth it.

Really good food and atmosphere. Had the bowl with mixed greens and rice base, pinto beans, corn, cheese, pico, vegan chorizo. Comes with fresh lime wedges and green and red salsas. Added guacamole. Really fresh flavors!

This was our first time there. I had the Mezcal Chipotle steak bowl with Maui Wawai sauce, which was excellent. My wife had the Beef Burria Burrito, which was good also. We started with “The dog ate my stash”, it was good, but there was more tortilla than filling. It’s still got a cool name. (Although the dog could get sick so keep your stash away from your dog) We ate on the patio overlooking the river. The music was good, but it kind of drowned out the better sounds of nature. There were lots of Killdeer flying up and down the river. Pretty cool. The service and hospitality were both excellent as well. Thanks.

The surrounding of Box Car Hippie lends its atmosphere as a laid back mellow place to chill. We grabbed take out. The value is recognized in the healthy portions of fresh quality ingredients married together as passion that easily serves for two meals. Also, it is not everywhere you can grab an eat and cannabis drink, or treat!

Really not sure how they have a 4.6 star rating. Almost twice the price of chipotle. Food is not as good. We ordered the steak, pork and beef bowls all with sour cream add-on. They came with salsas on the side. The salsas tasted Americanized/processed. We didn’t think any of it had nearly the flavor that chipotle does, not sure what it’s missing, but it just fell flat and was a disappointment. The service was however pretty good, they get 5 stars for that. They had nice items in the bathroom (antacids, tampons, floss picks, etc) that customers could use, which is why they get 5 stars for atmosphere. If it weren’t for the service and atmosphere , I would have given it a 1 or 2 star overall. For now, I wouldn’t go back. But maybe if they learned how to season or added some heart to their food, I would try it again. For now, I can get 2 chicken bowls or burritos for the same price at Chipotle and get better flavor. Hopefully they improve, otherwise they’re just a bubble that’s doing well because people have been excited to try something new.
