I’m visiting my friend here in Charleston from Boston and my friend has. been raving about this place forever knowing i’m a foodie… she was there a month ago and loved it …We got takeout went right home and started eating, and I didn’t want to say anything until she said this was horrible!! I was relieved to know it wasn’t just me,… It definitely was old and refried soggy batter and rubbery chicken with no juiciness it was bad! Barley any pimento cheese or mayo and i felt i was eating as much batter as chicken..honestly it was horrible The picture shows what was left we couldn’t eat it… i’m sad Fried chicken sandwiches

Solid 4 star restaurant would go back again if in the area. They have macaroons that didn’t fit the theme, in my opinion. I wish they had some other options, but they were good. The smash burgers were delicious. They also had a kids meal. Fried pickles were great as well french fries and sweet potato fries were a bit of a disappointment.

Tried this place while visiting Charleston. Chicken sandwiches were good! We tried the Boxcar, Buffalo, chicken strips and those were crunchy and delicious. Their fried pickles were a little greasy but ok.

Really good chicken sandwich. I got the Buffalo and it was not too spicy but very flavorful. The chicken is moist and the batter is crispy. Fries were a bit cold but tasty. There’s parking in the rear and the counter service was good.

Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, and the fried pickles were too good. I love an hour and a half away and am heavily pregnant but planning my next trip just to eat here again. The woman at the counter was also so sweet. My boyfriend has hyped this place up for so long and it really lived up to the hype. I’m going to crave their fried pickles now the rest of my pregnancy
