OMG! Finally an authentic Hawaiian restaurant that brought the Aloha with the ono recipes. There’s 200 Hawaiian style joints in town now. But it seems like they all fall into the mainland, corporate trap right after they open. NOT THIS PLACE. These guys keeping it 100. The food, the vibes and especially the Aloha. Love, love, love this place. Cannot get enough!

Absolutely incredible Hawaiian food. We tried the loco moco, and bbq chicken/chicken katsu combo with noodles.

First, the loco moco: everything was delectable and perfectly flavorful. The two beef patties were cooked perfectly. The gravy was hearty, the way it should be. The eggs (i always get overeasy) were actually cooked correctly. The portions were huge and definitely worth the price.

The katsu chicken/bbq chicken combo with noodles: the chicken katsu was cooked perfectly. A lot of places tend to give you overcooked chicken that barely contains any chicken. Bowlz chicken katsu has the perfect ratio of chicken to panko crumbs so neither is overwhelmed by the other. The bbq chicken was also flavorful. It’s obvious they use top-quality meat for their dishes. The noodles were also delicious. Perfectly cooked and paired well with the bbq chicken especially.

The sides were got were also good. We got the mac salad and kimchi.

The service was also great. The people at the register were friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was okay. Just a quick eatery-style seating.

Overall, this was a great experience and I will definitely be returning to try other items the next time I’m craving Hawaiian food.

Cashier was awesome, warm and full of Aloha! Ordered Meat jun, Mahi katsu and a lechon kawali and roast pork combo. Everything was spot on. Had the ahi Inari bombs which were delicious and the poi Mochi balls are a must try. Mahalo’s Bowlz, might be back tomorrow to have more Ono grindz!

We got salmon sashimi, lau lau, furikake ahi belly and the daikon Kim chi and it was all so gooood! The food here is sooooo good! Best lau lau I’ve ever had, it’s so juicy and has such a good saltiness to it. And it’s so big! My sister got the furikake ahi belly and she loved it! It was moist on the inside and nice and crunchy on the outside. The daikon Kim chi had great crunch to eat and such a nice sweetness. The salmon was fresh! The lady working the front is always so sweet when we go in, such great customer service. This is my go to spot.

I had the kalua pork nachos, super tasty pork! My wife had the bacon burger but inhaled it before I could get a photo. The beef patty is definitely fresh and seasoned perfectly.

Came for a quick dinner. No wait. Dined in. Ordered the 1 choice “kimchee” salmon poke bowl for $17. The seafood was great and preserved well before prep. The dish needed more sauce and it was hard to find the taste of kimchi. The portion needs to be larger for the price. You can order the meat by the pound and take it home to prepare yourself which is great and unique in Nevada and I’ve only seen that done in other states like Texas before. The staff were kind, friendly, and efficient. Medium sized dining area with two separate tv’s and a self-serve water and condiment station. Would come back for another meal.

was so excited to try this place but was extremely disappointed

I had been following this place on Instagram for quite some time so I was expecting a lot more I ordered a Poké bowl with two different kinds I usually go to pokey express, but because it was late. I decided to try this place, and because I was in the area my hopes were very high when I was chatting with the guy. I told him I usually do a pokey express, but I’ve always wanted to try this place. I really don’t like a place that insults another business when I told him that I usually go there he immediately bashed poking express and was like oh no they’re not. They’re not good. We know them they use frozen fish, blah, blah blah blah. Since I had already ordered, I didn’t really say anything. I got my my bowl and drove all the way home and I must say it was absolutely disgusting. The pokey had no flavor. Some of it was hard. I don’t even know how that happens I trash my bowl and wasted $30. I will not come back that is for certain based on the food and based on the fact that they were just bashing another business.

So sad because I really wanted to like this place and in the pictures and videos, it looks absolutely delicious, but I was just so disappointed
