Probably the nicest waterfront place for food and drinks. A nice beach, they even have a pool. Service was excellent, we were there on a busy Sunday for lunch, got a table quickly, and food and drinks were fast. The Amazing Cauliflower is really good, the salmon salads and shrimp salad also very good. The had all-day happy and $6 crushes, pretty good. Tiki Lee’s and Sunset Cove are louder and a little more bar focused. Great views, you can watch small planes and jets approach the airport (not loud) and lots of boats, kayaks, and paddle boards around. The best all-around waterfront place in the area for sure.

Nice ideas on the menu. Not the best execution. Beautiful setting along the waterfront. A nice outdoor seating area. A bit noisy with the airport next door. Service was lacking. One order with the wrong side dish. Plus after asking our waitress a twenty minute wait for utensils after getting our food served. Thus the food was cold by the time you could eat. The oysters were mushy and cold inside. So a bit undercooked. Would have preferred fresh oysters. Many menu items were unavailable. I really wanted to like this place. Just very disappointed after seating because it went totally downhill. Beware of the puddle of urine in the men’s room( see photo) in front of the facilities.

Nice atmosphere. Drinks were good. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad. My mother got the margarita Flatbread and we split an order of the crispy Brussel sprouts. Food was okay. Service was good.

Everything was great, I had a Bowley’s burger and fries, with their specialty margarita. Delicious food and being so close to the beach. Being able to watch the water and boats was a 10/10 experience. There’s also a pool and they said we could rent the boats if we wanted. Our server, a young lady, was actually training another young man. They checked on us and were attentive. It was a great time, and we will be back.

So this was my first time visiting Bowleys and it was for a birthday dinner so I had really high hopes that everything would go well. Unfortunately parking was a bit of a hassle which made us late for our reservation. Due to that the wait time was a little long which our group was fine with because we were so excited. We were finally seated and the table we sat at was still dirty from the last patrons. We asked one of the servers if she could wipe off the table and she did with a bottle with little to no disinfectant in it. Fast forward about 20mins we get our waiter. She takes our drink orders and then we don’t see her for about 30mins. She comes back takes our full orders and once again we don’t see or hear from her for roughly 30mins. No apps, no refills, nothing. Food finally comes out, one order is incorrect and the waitress argues with us over the mistake instead of offering a solution or offering a side dish. Additionally the mashed potatoes and asparagus for one of my friends was cold. Instead of taking the plate the waitress offers to bring out hot sides which ultimately ended in the entire plate being cancelled. She argued the whole time before bringing out a replacement. Every single order of fries (truffle, sweet potato, and regular) were ice cold when they got to our table. (Based on the other reviews this seem to be on brand.) Then once it’s time to pay our bill she randomly tells us that our group of 9 has to either pay cash or card but not both. This was never mentioned to us and honestly doesn’t make any sense.

Amazing! Although I’m biased anyway, as much as I LOVE the beach, and this place is a VIBE! I’ve lived in Bowleys Quarters for almost 2 years and ate here for the first time last month with a group of Sorority sisters. I WILL be back. The food was delicious, our server *Megan* was awesome and very accommodating of our party of about 9 or 10 ladies. So happy I live right in the area and this gem is less than 2 miles from my door. #ToesInTheSand #DrinkInMyHand

Sometimes places with such a beautiful atmosphere don’t try as hard w the food and drinks. Not the case here. Everything was delicious. We forgot to get pics of the food, but we got the cream of crab soup, fried cauliflower, baja chicken entree, and salmon entree. We also got a bunch of drinks.The drink in the picture is the Summer Berry Mojito and it is amazing. Everything was so good. And the sunset on the water was gorgeous. They have vegan options, too!

What an amazing view. I grew up boating on Rock Creek never realized how beautiful Middle River could be. Wife and I met a few couples to listen to awesome music by Sagamore and celebrate a birthday. Drinks were cold and refreshing and food was great. Highly recommend starting with the “Amazing Cauliflower bites”. You cannot go wrong with the Fish Taco’s that my wife ordered….tasty and full of Mahi Mahi with a aoli sauce that had a nice tang with the picked fennel…..Wasabi?. Sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked. I ordered my Pirate Burger rare and it was excellent with fries on the side. The over easy egg added a creamy texture to an outstanding burger. Gotta give props to our waitress for getting the order correct for the large table. Considering the crowd on a warm. summer Saturday evening she was on point. Beautiful sunset on the beach, great music, wonderful friends and good food…..what’s not to like? Can’t wait to return on this Chesapeake Oasis to try the Poke Bowl.
