Headed to Bowleys on the Bay on July 2nd by boat. After tying up at the marina fueling station (ok to dock there after 5 pm), we were told we could not sit outside and would need to be seated inside. Not sure why? There were other guests who arrived after us (a party of 5) who were welcomed to outdoor seating. The hostess seemed annoyed so maybe she was having a bad day. Considering that the main reason we chose the restaurant was because they have outdoor seating which allows for views of the sunset, not to mention, a small beach which would keep a toddler happy by playing in the water, we truly were disappointed by the hostess’ choice to seat us in an empty dining area since the weather was gorgeous. The server was also unsure why we were seated inside since she had tables outside and had to run in and out to serve us.
The food was pretty good but the service was slow (as noted above). The server was very nice and accommodating.
All in all, a pleasant place to dine but beware of being seated indoors during the summer. In hindsight sight we should have insisted on being seated outside, even if it meant a wait.

Visited for a Tuesday wedding reception and a Sunday morning brunch. Both times staff were awesome and welcoming. Food was okay, good. Dinner better than brunch. They were out of French toast and didnt serve pancakes or waffles. Reception well catered with a DJ. Likely sitting on the bay would also be nice. Pleasant atmosphere.

This is a really cool atmosphere with great service and food. Our server was Jordan and she was absolutely amazing. Very quick and super friendly on a busy night. The Beach next to the restaurant is amazing and with the pool right next to it too! It’s a very nice restaurant and I would definitely recommend going here!!!

This place is fantastic. Not only do they have great food at reasonable prices, excellent atmosphere right on the water with a private beach, and live music, but their customer service is excellent as well. We have had several large parties here and they have always accommodated us. But most importantly to me, the manager allowed me to do something that was very special and important to me regarding a loved one who passed. 5/5 would recommend!

Food is good, not great like it used to be. But not bad by any means. They got rid of the fried green tomatoes which was the best thing on the menu . Normally there’s no more than a 20 min wait, however we did happen to go this last time during a memorial Day event so it was packed and was told 2 1/2 hour wait. We didn’t mind because we were going to be there all day anyway, we were still able to order drinks at the bar, and let the kids play in the sand. The wait turned out to be around an hour and a half so by that point everyone was ready to sit down and order food. But overall, the atmosphere is amazing, the crowd is enjoyable and every visit is such a pleasure! I truly love this place, great job!

Such a fun spot on the water! The salmon poke bowl was super refreshing and they have frozen orange creamsicle crushes. The vibe is amazing with an outdoor bar area and live music.

Recently hosted our company Christmas party with Bowley’s on the Bay and couldn’t be more happy with it.
Anthony and his team have been working with me for the past 3 months figuring out all the details. They made it very easy and were great with communication. They made the day of the event effortless and their staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient.
The team here is amazing and does great work, the food was really good and so were the drinks.
The scenery at Bowley’s is beautiful and you’ll be pleased with the restaurant regardless of where you sit.

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful way to celebrate Mother’s Day than our brunch on the water. The food was delicious, the service was top notch and as an added bonus we chatted with the General Manager several times, who made sure we were satisfied with everything. I see why this place is in high demand. There was something genuinely heartfelt about the entire experience. My mom left glowing, and I left grateful for such a perfect time together.

We came for lunch and had great service and a great meal with our toddler. Everything was very fast, and the space is really pretty. We unfortunately couldn’t use the outdoors because it was winter, but looking forward to coming back when it’s nicer weather out. We really liked the wings!

What an awesome Maryland find. I felt like I was in the Islands. I came here with a group I had never heard of this place. Absolutely beautiful restaurant beach vibe. Outside seating to die for!!!! The mussels were huge and the sauce was thick creamy and flavorful. Spicy Chicken sandwich was so crispy and perfectly cooked with a sauce that added a kick. I absolutely love this place.
