Disastrous New Year’s Event – Bad Food, False Advertising, and Terrible Entertainment
I had a very bad experience at the New Year’s event at Bowl O Biriyani.
We booked VIP tickets for four. They promised a lavish buffet, VIP table service, and but none of this happened as advertised.
For VIP guests, they served only a few appetizers at the table, including boiled peanuts, which was disappointing.
For the main course, we were told to stand in line, even though we paid for VIP.
Appetizers started around 9:30 PM. The main course was started around 10:30PM, and we waited in line for almost 40 minutes. At 11:30 PM, they closed the food counter and there was not even enough food and last people in the line.
The food quality was poor. There were very few items—veg biryani, butter chicken curry, naan, curd rice, and gajar halwa for the so called lavish buffet. The veg biryani smelled bad, and the curd rice tasted sour.
I had taken my child to this event, and she ate the veg biryani, but soon after we noticed a very bad smell, which was extremely upsetting and should never happen with food served at an event.
The DJ was terrible—even a YouTube playlist would have been better.
Overall, this was a disaster of a New Year’s event. Bad food, bad music, and false advertising.

$21 with tip for lunch bowl no naan , silverware or napkins to go.
Very spicy and super chunky onion cuts.
No seared dining at this time.

Tried Bowl of Biryani and overall had a good experience. We ordered the Paneer Butter Masala, the Chef Special Kashmiri Paneer, and Malai Kofta — all were flavorful, with the Malai Kofta being a standout surprise. The curries were served with rice and paired well with the regular naan. The cheese naan, however, was a bit underwhelming and not as cheesy as we’ve had elsewhere, especially for the price. The ambience is pleasant with a spacious setup, making it a nice spot for family dinners. Worth visiting if you’re craving North Indian-style curries!

Food was absolutely delicious. They can adjust the spice level to your liking when you order but they have plenty of options, all the traditional dishes and it is all very delicious. You will not go wrong with anything you order. Keep in mind though that for someone who eats spicy food, level 3 was a bit much so we had to get some mango shake. It is an enormous space so I am sure it gets booked for a lot of parties and celebrations. For some reason the bar was closed but we saw some servers still making drinks, except our server. We still had a great experience and this is a fenomenal Indian food restaurant.

Amazing Indian Food, hidden gem. The lunch combos come with appetizer and desert, naan (butter) and rice, then service is great. Less than $15 and high quality for everything. Solid food experience.

From the outside, the entrance was quite uninviting, and I wasn’t sure if the place was even open. Once inside, I found the restaurant to be very large, but the atmosphere was a bit daunting. The host desk was situated all the way at the back, and there were no clear signs indicating what we were supposed to do.
Despite the initial confusion, the staff was friendly and helpful once we found them. However, we did sit at our table for about 10 minutes before anyone came to speak to us.
On a positive note, the food was excellent. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot-on. We split a biryani, and even with sharing, we had leftovers to take home. Overall, while the experience started off shaky, the quality of the food made up for it.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years for my Indian food. They have a great menu with a wide variety and the food is always bursting with flavor. The service has always been stellar. They make good recommendations and always ask about the level of spiciness that you are comfortable with. I’ve been to many surrounding Indian restaurants and no one has better food at a better price point. For the amount of food you get it’s a bargain. Love this place and will always return. I’ve heard the all you can eat lunch buffet is very popular
