The bistro burger was the most mid average burger of my life, I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. Hot Honey chicken burger was good, but it only came with pickles on it so it felt pretty empty and not enough things on it. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was also mid. The fries here are very mid.

From 3 stars to 1 stars. The owner responded to my review with an unnecessarily defensive tone and attempted to discredit my experience by referencing several things. To be absolutely clear:
• My review history reflects honesty — not hostility.
I consistently give 5-star ratings to small businesses that deliver good food and good service. I don’t hand out low ratings casually; I give accurate ones.
• Suggesting I “go around leaving low reviews” is simply false.
My ratings span the full range because I evaluate each place on its own merits. That is exactly what reviews are for. Trying to weaponize my history is both misleading and unprofessional.
• Trying multiple menu items is not suspicious — it’s responsible reviewing.
If anything, it shows I gave the restaurant more than one chance to impress me. The attempt to frame this as unusual says more about the owner’s mindset than my intentions.
• A customer’s experience is not invalidated by other people’s praise.
Hundreds of positive reviews do not erase an average one. My experience stands on its own, and it is valid.
• Referencing my entire review pattern to dismiss this single visit is inappropriate.
Customers are allowed to have a different opinion without being interrogated or psychoanalyzed by the business.
The disappointing part wasn’t that the food didn’t match my taste too much — it was the owner’s reaction. Instead of engaging professionally with the feedback, the response focused on defensiveness, assumptions, and personal commentary. That behavior alone is concerning for customer service.

The food is fresh and made to order. Kamal was super kind. We had the skirt steak tacos, the original smash burger, and the chicken sandwich. It was a great experience for both take out and dine in.

Absolutely amazing dinner at Bowl Burger Bistro! Everything from the crispy onion rings and perfectly seasoned French fries to the juicy burgers and flavorful chicken was top-notch. The cocktails were fantastic fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. We also had the French toast with berries for dessert, and it was heavenly! The vibe was super welcoming with friendly staff and a very kind owner who made us feel right at home. Bonus points for the lovely outdoor patio great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend!

Dope little spot if you’re looking for a yummy meal with a chill atmosphere. Their chicken Banh mi was on point, even the berry basil mocktail was yummy, and the service was phenomenal! Highly recommend you check it out.

This place is a gem! The vibes are perfect and the prices are fair. Good music, cute decor, amazing friendly service. I got the Korean fried chicken bowl and a berry basil mocktail. It was so good and the presentation was beautiful. My fiance ordered a plain burger and they mistakenly made him one with all the toppings. We didn’t say anything because things happen and it’s no biggie; he just started quietly taking the toppings off his burger, but one of the staff saw him and kindly offered to remake it which was so nice and unexpected!! I can’t say enough nice things. We will be back! I want to try all the bowls!

Just stopped by Bowl Burger Bistro near Lincoln Park and West Side in JC and I’m so glad I did! The vibe is exactly what you want from a neighborhood bistro – casual, welcoming, and great service. The servers had genuine warmth, and the owner even introduced himself, which really made our experience.
What really sets them apart is their 100% halal menu, with some awesome South Asian influenced dishes (and more to come!). The food was on point – my kids devoured their smash burgers, which were perfectly grilled, juicy, and seasoned. I had the Chicken Chipotle Bowl, which hit the spot with just the right level of spice. The chicken was grilled to perfection, and the sauce, rice, and veggies all came together beautifully. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

What a charming place! Everything about this place clicked with me. The burgers are delicious and affordable. The atmosphere is artsy and cool. The owners and staff are funny and friendly. What a great experience. I really loved my cucumber mint mocktail and the food was so fresh. They get their burger buns delivered from a bakery in Brooklyn. They also will cook it to your request if you ask. The place is halal so the only bacon is turkey, however, they make it crispy and delightful. Also there are bowls like the surf and turf, shrimp and steak cooked to perfection. The hot honey chicken sandwich is insanely good. For fun we tried the masala croquetes which were definitely elevated. This place has both comfort and bistro cuisine. Will Def come back here!
