My husband Sean and I came for a birthday bite and it was awesome!! We were greeted by a sweet young lady with a smile and were promptly seated. Our server, Mitch, was at our table immediately to say hello, get our drink order, and to inform us about the special fish of the evening, the whole stuffed flounder. Mitch was friendly, easy going, and informative about the menu. My husband had some major dental work done a couple of days ago, so he was careful and patient to help us navigate through the choices that would suit both our pallets and our special restrictions. We had the special catch of the day which was the whole stuffed flounder and the Two Step dinner which was catfish and crawfish etouffee. The two step was excellent, but the flounder was outstanding!! Fish was cooked to perfection, easily flaked away from the bone, super moist, and seasoned just right. The baked potato was huge. The sweet potato was filled with caramel and marshmallows YUM! The grilled veggies were piping hot with a grilled crisp, just the way I like them. 5 stars for all the stars at Boutins. Thanks for making an awesome birthday meal just right for husband and I. We will be back!!

Went in for dinner on a Thursday Evening Everything was delicious. Our Server was Sage she was amazing kept drinks full on the table and food and appetizers coming out quickly! Second time in three weeks we’ve been in! Mitch was our server the last time and had the same experience!! I haven’t been here in years over the terrible service they use to have seems like they have turned the place around!!! Will definitely continue to come back!

We had dinner here on 01/11/2025. Our initial waitress came to the table and asked for our drink orders, but she never returned. Seemed like she was tending to other tables around us other than ours. After nearly 15 minutes of still waiting, I was about to tell my husband that we can leave. Then, a second waitress came to the table and informed us that she will take over as our waitress, because they had a huge party group in the other room. So, the second waitress brought us our drink order and took our order down for appetizers. Well, then a third waitress (Cailey?) was the person who tended to us for the rest of our time there. Cailey was very sweet and attentive to us, and I appreciated her apologizing to us about the long wait. The Crawfish Wontons were ok, but I did not like that they were battered slightly too much with some type of power on them. The steak bites were delicious! My husband and I really enjoyed them. My charboiled oysters were very delicious and tasteful! My husband liked his shrimp poboy, but there were not alot of shrimp on the poboy. Overall, we were pleased with the outcome of our experience with the restaurant and the customer service.

Food- quality and taste- crab meat items- stuffed bell pepper, and grilled catfish with crab meat were whale seasoned and high recommendation. Stuffed mushrooms were full and delicious.
Service- our lunchtime was 2 PM so Service was somewhat slow. Looked like some staff was covering for other staff in certain areas. Atmosphere is quiet, seating is roomy and plentiful both a bore seating area and a restaurant seating area as well as a party room.
Bonus: owner of this establishment was a previous general manager of Mulot’s famous Cajun restaurant.

So me and family chose to try this place instead of heading into the city. Truly a horrible experience, lets start with getting 3 drinks for the table and having to ask the waiter 3-4 times over 30 minutes to get straws for said drinks. And after that everything was just as bad. Over cooked ribeye like I asked for medium rare and got well done. Wanted to try some char grilled oysters yet somehow it took an hour for a half a dozen to get to the table only to not even be good still had un melted cheese just sitting with the oyster. My mother’s green beans were inedible and somehow the most seasoned thing on all 3 plates. And the food was ALL luke warm nothing was hot. All in all, choose another place.

SUNDAY …Waited 45 mins for appetizers, and they crab cakes were cool inside. When we received our meal the crawfIsh enchilada was COLD inside warm cheese sauce. THIS WAS A 1ST AND DONE ! I WILL NOT RETURN . THE WAITRESS must have been new to the job.

The alligator bites were absolutely delicious and the sauce added the perfect touch. Wasn’t a big fan of the coleslaw because it had a vinegar base, but I’m kind of picky about my coleslaw. And the crawfish enchilada was amazing from the cheese on top to the filling inside I will definitely be getting it again if I’m ever in the area

Took my wife and daughter there for our anniversary. I got to say Always ask for Mitch if you want impeccable service. I drink a lot of soda and was never without a drink for more than a minute or two. We tried the alligator bites for our appetizer and they were quite good. Very hot let them cool. My wife had the catfish acadian she absolutely adored the Etoufe and corn maque choux. Catfish was fresh and yummy. I had a shrimp poboy and let me tell you no cheap bread used here. We are talking fresh French bread not rolls from the store. Shrimp had a nice spice kick and the French fries have a personality on its own. Very unique cut and so crisp. My daughter had eyes larger than her stomach and ordered the platter in which we all shared. Crab. Excellent. Oysters. Superb. Stuffed Pepper. Wow. Just a great and lovely time and thank you so much to Mitch our server for just being so pleasant. Something that’s kind of missing nowadays. Kind of felt like we were family.
