1 star because waitresses were kind of friendly. We didn’t know what to do when we walked in. You seat yourself but there’s no sign and Noone told us. Waitress took our order brought food and checked on us one time. When I was a little girl my mom gave me a little waitress apron with pockets in it and i wanted to play pretend restaurant all the time. My pretend restaurant was probably ran like this place lol food was terrible. My ham was sliced thin lunch meat. Hash browns are tater rounds. My biscuits and gravy were cold and had to be microwaved. Waited forever for food. I think they were cooking each meal 1 at a time. Everything was just cheap/frozen crap. I do not understand the good reviews at all. Just go to the waffle house. Super expensive too $50 for what we got (see pics) bloody mary was as good as the food.

This little restaurant had amazing food!! They had a lot of seats and comfy booths. Our waitress Marissa (I hope I’m spelling it correctly) was very kind and welcoming. Service was wonderful. The food didn’t take long for what we ordered and it was delicious!! I’ve never had alligator before and it was so yummy! We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much

This morning we arrived and was seated promptly. We were served quickly. We ordered a coffee and sweet tea. She came back quickly with our beverages and tons of creamer options. We placed our order and it came out quickly. I ordered the Cajun omelet and my husband ordered the Zydeco omelet. We opted for the biscuit as our side and added white gravy. I also ordered one single pancake. Everything came out quickly and was hot. My omelet had shrimp. I found the shrimp could have been cooked a little longer for my preference. But I know there’s a fine line with them. It was great otherwise. We couldn’t finish everything. The biscuit was fluffy and great. My husband’s omelet was amazing. But what the absolute best was the coffee creamer options and the pancake. I’m glad I didn’t order a stack, because I could have made myself sick if I would have had them. It was FABULOUS!

Wildly surprised!!! The staff was amazing, food was fresh, and atmosphere was laid back. We had the crawfish etouffee fries and seafood platter. Large portions!!! We would definitely be regulars there if we were local!

Right off of I10. We stopped for a late lunch. Had the shrimp Poboy sandwich and fries. Absolutely fabulous. The service is a little bit slow, but the food is amazing. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re traveling between New Orleans and Houston.

The food here was phenomenal, and the portions were huge. I highly recommend the boom boom shrimp and the boudin balls. Also, the boom boom shrimp poboy, and the crab cake burger. The food was so good, I am already looking forward to going back! Please stop by and check this place out for yourself! The Boom Boom Shrimp Poboy, was the best shrimp poboy I think I’ve ever had.

Service was polite however I will admit they seemed distracted with socializing amongst themselves to the detriment of their speed of service. Not the end of the world but something that annoys me personally. Now what should qualify as the end of the world is how god awful their gumbo is. Ya’ll need to work on your recipe or take that crap off the menu. It was greasy, bitter, and made me wish that it was flavorless due to how bad what little flavor it had was.

If you’re a person of color, I would think twice before coming here. I walked in wearing a hoodie, and a white security guard immediately yelled at me to take it off. I complied and went to the restroom. Inside, there were two other men wearing hoodies—one clearly white and the other fair-skinned. When I walked out behind them. I asked the guard why I was singled out, he laughed. It felt like the rules only applied to Black men because he never said a word to either of them

Absolutely the worst Cajun dining I’ve ever experienced, both in service and food. Crawfish etouffe was cold, and server was disgruntled when I brought it to her attention. She took my plate and put it in the microwave and handed it back to me without apology or anything. The boudin balls were fresh rolled, but the meat used was nothing but tough grizzle. We waited way too long for rude service and inedible food. I was embarrassed that I brought my friends here.
