We decided to revisit a bar we hadn’t been to in years. In the past, we always went for their burgers, which were fantastic, but this time we wanted to try their fish fry.

We arrived around 5:55 p.m. The bar area had several people, some eating at the bar, while the majority seemed to be waiting. The dining area didn’t have any tables in use.

The process for them is you go to the bar first, order drinks, put your name on a list, and wait for a server to come take your food order. Once your food is ready, they’ll seat you at a table.

It took almost an hour before we could place our order and another 45–50 minutes before our meals arrived.

We ordered the fried haddock with fries and fried shrimp with fries (which also included soup or salad). We chose the soup, which was a pea soup. It had large chunks of ham, but the soup itself was very bland and needed salt and pepper. The ham was also quite dry.

The fried haddock came with two good-sized filets, but unfortunately, the fish was so overcooked, probably the most overcooked fried fish I’ve ever had. The breading-to-fish ratio was good though, and if it hadn’t been overcooked, it probably could have been really good.

The fried shrimp meal, on the other hand, was perfect. The breading was crispy, and the shrimp were plump and juicy.

The bartenders, Lexi and Dana, seemed new and were very friendly and accommodating.

It was unclear why the kitchen was so slow, but it appeared they didn’t have enough dishware, glasses for drinks were delayed because they had to wait for others to finish before washing.

Overall, it was disappointing compared to our memories of the place. We’re curious to know how their burgers are now.

What a weird place. I should have read the reviews. We roll up, walk in and am greated by the most bizarre atmosphere. If you’ve ever wondered what a tiny, run-down cash-only beer bar and a vfw looked like, well look no further. It’s one of the few places I’ve been where I feel like a cast-out but am perfectly fine with that.

I did appreciate the fact that their drinks are hella cheap, but not made conservatively.

On January 12th,2024 I entered here for my very first time all while Winter Storm Bennett was man handling us. Came here to try their Perch Platter and Badger Inna Glass (Bloody Mary) and Cheese Curds. This place blew my expectations out the water. From The Customer Service to their Food all was an amazing High Quality Experience. The atmosphere was so welcoming and amazing. The Locals were super friendly and welcoming. The Perch moved Immediately to my top spot for the Green Bay,WI it was that good. Them Cheese Curds was so delicious and tasty. They were some phenomenal curds and the Badger Inna Glass was amazing too. This place is a true resemblance of a great Wisconsin bar where Wisconsinites come together around some amazingly delicious food and drinks. If you’re a Perch Lover,Curd Lover and Badger Inna Glass Lover Make this place your next stop.You won’t be disappointed! #FoodieDuaneTheWisconsinite This place gets my approval! Go Try For yourself!

If I could leave this place zero starts I would. My grandma was here and the waitress was phenomenal but the owner came out of the kitchen and yelled at her over a beer. She snatched the glass from in front of her and yelled over the size of it.

If you want a burnt burger on a burnt bun this is the place to go. Terrible for the 2nd time in 2yrs and won’t be back. Told the bartender and got no satisfaction.

Bartender and waitress were super nice, owner obviously checked out after listing place for sale.
2 hours for fish when place was empty, and the haddock was raw. Soup was luke warm after the owner “warmed it up”.
