Reviews
We started with a mimosa flight, which was a 10/10 – pineapple, cranberry, and orange juice. Every flavor was delicious and perfectly balanced. For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari, which was so good. The addition of pepperoncini was such a nice touch and added great color, texture, and flavor.
We both ordered the New Orleans pasta with grilled shrimp. While I was hoping for a bit more of that bold Cajun/New Orleans spice, the dish was still very good overall with a nice, comforting flavor.
The ambiance was beautiful, I loved the interior, and the host was very friendly. We had no wait at all, which was a plus.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try their brunch menu tacos!
Opting for the outdoor dining space, with its massive flat-screen TV and diverse seating arrangements, proved to be a stroke of genius. Even the water served was of exceptional quality, setting the stage for what was to come. The menu is a curated collection of culinary delights, and the mimosas are a work of art. Crafted with a generous splash of St. Germaine and a blend of cranberry, orange, and pineapple juices, they redefine the mimosa experience.
The Napoleon Benedict and Chorizo Breakfast Tacos were nothing short of perfection—each bite a symphony of flavors, expertly prepared and presented. Bourbon St. isn’t just a meal; it’s a journey, a destination that warrants repeat visits. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a dining experience that transcends the ordinary. ONE LOVE ❤️ #Xmarkzthespot.
It’s conveniently located near the canal, where the boat tours pass by, and just steps from one of the liveliest parts of the city. Great location, great food, and a warm, energetic vibe. Definitely worth a visit.
Drinks
I ordered the Skinny Paloma made with grapefruit tequila, lime juice, soda water, and a lime-salt rim. It was light in flavor but very smooth—easy to sip and refreshing without being overly sweet. Definitely a good starter drink.
Appetizer
I also ordered the Alligator Bites (not pictured). For $19, I expected a larger portion, but the flavor made up for it. They were fried to a perfect golden brown and paired with a red pepper garlic aioli that was genuinely delicious. If I come back, I’m ordering a double portion so it feels more like an appetizer and less like a snack.
Entrées
Bayou CatfishThis was a hit. The catfish came out juicy with big, satisfying pieces. I swapped the regular fries for Cajun fries, and that was the right move—seasoned well with a good kick. The hush puppies were tasty, and the tartar sauce stood out as something fresh and unique, not the typical jarred stuff.
New Orleans–Style Blackened Chicken Fettuccine AlfredoThis dish came with a generous portion, and the flavor delivered. The chicken was grilled perfectly, and the seasoning had that true New Orleans Creole blend—bold but balanced. The Alfredo sauce was creamy and rich without being heavy. Definitely a dish I’d recommend.
Service & Atmosphere
It was a Friday night, so there was an initial wait of about 15 minutes before we even got water or could order drinks. But once things got moving, the service was great overall—attentive, friendly, and consistent.
Final Thoughts
I’d definitely return. The food was flavorful, the portions (aside from the gator bites) were generous, and the atmosphere was lively. Next time, I’ll try a different cocktail and go straight for a double order of those alligator bites.
