I moved to Lexington not too long ago, and I was looking for bars that I could see myself visiting with friends, and then I found this place–Bourbon on Rye. They have a surprisingly good menu for a small bar. The seating is somewhat limited. My favorite place to sit is out on the sidewalk where they have tables, umbrellas and heaters. It is a very fun and friendly atmosphere. It can sometimes be slow on the service side but overall a great place to enjoy yourself.

Very cool place – two sides to it seemingly, the back bar is a bit more laid back and relaxed, but closes early. Food is good too – meatballs were killer. It can get a little loud with the college crowd of course, which is why I drop it a star – but otherwise a nice late-night joint with a great selection.

The wings were okay. The boulevardier was good. Whale steak was good, but not as good as the pickle. Water has the least amount of arsenic in the municipality. Therefour, they are a five. I liikkkeee!

i came in on a saturday night order well done chicken wings with ranch . They came out light skin with blue . When i said something to the bartender who took my order he got an attitude and told me they couldn’t remake them because they was out of wings, so i said can i get some ranch , this son of a gun said we out of ranch as well . Moral of the story DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS !

Whenever I revisit a city, I always enjoy trying new places. I’m glad I chose this spot! A true hidden gem of downtown Lexington. The sliders were some of the best I’ve ever had and the house made beer cheese is just incredible.
