The food was wonderful. Our waiter named Mike was great. I would highly recommend going here. Next time I’m in Colorado I would like to go here again and try a different dish. We booked a reservation for 5. The atmosphere was great. We could talk to each other and didn’t hear the group next to us.

We had dinner last night at Bourbon Brothers before attending the Miranda Lambert concert at Ford Amphitheater. We made a reservation for 6:00pm. We arrived at 6:00 pm and were told it would be a 5-25 minute wait for a table. That stressed me out. I had the expectation that we could be seated at the time we “reserved”. If I had know we had to pad the timing, I would have made the reservation for an earlier time. So we sat at the bar with hopes of ordering a drink. The bartender never spoke with us or took our order in anyway. Luckily we were seated at 6:08 so it wasn’t too long to worry. We were taken back to the bourbon room, which is a really cool space. But … they wanted us to sit at a coffee table. I don’t think eating leaning over a coffee table is pleasant or good for my back so we asked for another table. The young lady told us it would be another wait. We again said, we can’t eat at that table. So we walked with her back to the hostess stand expecting the worst. The “head hostess” immediately told her to go ahead and take us to a different table. This table was in a really great booth. Super happy about that. Our server, Mike, showed up right away. He took our drink orders and said he’d be right back. He came back shortly and said that the bar was really backed up and it may be awhile. ugh. He took our dinner order and refilled our waters. The drinks came out at 623. It felt like a really long wait. The food came out at 6:47. So, slow service from the kitchen and bar. Mike, however, was excellent. He had a friendly and polite demeanor. He was professional and communicated with us. My husband had the Brisket & Philly Sandwich with waffle fries. He didn’t finish the fries. That may be the first time in the 35 years I’ve known him that he didn’t finish fries. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with tots. I thought the sandwich and tots were delicious, though it was not the greatest looking plate of food.
So, Mike was fantastic. The food was good. But, maybe I wouldn’t return on a concert night. The place just seemed slammed.

Our waitress was amazing. The bathroom walls were grimy which worries me because if the bathrooms look like this then the kitchen probably looks worse. The restaurant interior felt grimy as well. With some degreaser and deep clean it would really brighten it up.

Appetizer :
deviled eggs – not a traditional rich deviled egg and the bacon sadly didn’t have a nice crisp.

The flavor of the fried pickles was good but also would have been nice to have a nice crunch.

Bbq nachos with brisket $22 they were sub-par. Shredded cheese was cold and the nachos were stale. Just couldn’t get a break with getting a good crunch on anything

Drinks: something mile high mule was very good

Bacon wrapped meatloaf was good.

Jalepeno cornbread was my favorite

Nice staff. Easy going, bit in the right way. Made me feel comfortable. Great fried chicken. Great fries. The Cubano needed more BBQ sauce & mustard but the meat was good. Relaxing atmosphere. Perfect temperature.

Visited tonight and it was an absolute pleasure from the service to the food. Our server was Mara – She was so nice and pleasant. I had the chicken fried steak with BBQ beans (highly recommend!!! Delicious!!) and mashed potatoes, with the the best SWEET TEA ( again highly recommend – very best sweet tea in the Springs…. Just like you get in Georgia!). My husband had the ribs that he devoured along with a side salad ( he said the ranch dressing was very good) and onion rings which he shared with me and they were absolutely delicious. But, the service is what made the evening so nice….from the girls that greeted us and showed us to our table and our server Mara was just so attentive and nice.

Not worth the money… the brisket was dry and overcooked, the okra was decent. Their fries looked good but were blan, their deviled eggs might as well just been hard boiled with herb oil on it. The bread pudding was a good portion but they had to load it down with their sauce to make it edible… 21 dollars for a slice of chocolate cake… thats definitely not for 2… and I’ve had better cake from a super market… pretty much tastes like it… this is just a really CB but twice the price and I would almost say CB is better… but people liked the alcohol though. Server was nice enough… and the music volume was all over the place… sometimes loud or medium but made it hard to listen to people

So we will be back to try different items, the atmosphere was cool. It was a very country style, think Joanna Gains decorated. Now down to food. Jambalaya is an interpretation I’ve never encountered in Cajun food, not bad* but definitely not traditional at all or not something I’d ever order again (see Pappadaux 40 minutes north for jambalaya etc, save for red beans and rice which still somehow is dominated by Popeyes of all places). The chicken fry was good but a texture thing holds it back. The Pit meat was okay but there are quite excellent BBQ places in town if that’s your goal. It was acceptable but not great and that’s the problem. You make a reservation and it takes 20 minutes to get seated, after that reservation comes and goes. While I think the food is acceptable, it’s nothing that I couldn’t get better elsewhere in town, and even better in Denver. So what is the hype and exclusivity? I honestly don’t know. It’s okay but the recipes need work tbh. If wanted any of these genera’s of food I could find it better elsewhere in Colorado Springs or definitely Denver. So, give it time and it might improve. These ratings are pending another trial, maybe we ordered incorrectly?
The appetizers are good, we did the deviled eggs and fried pickles, those were definitely above average. So we will be back and order food, because sometimes you just miss the mark on your selections, but I don’t have high hopes and will likely deduct stars after our next trial. Good people, poor organization, and okay food outside of appetizers. Very southern inspired but not executed.

I had a great time! I ordered the shrimp and grits — absolutely delicious. The catfish was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp was seasoned just right. We also tried the mac and cheese bacon egg rolls for appetizers. They were good but missing a little something — maybe a flavor boost or extra sauce to tie it together.
My friend got the fried steak with mashed potatoes and beans — she thought it was a little salty, but I honestly thought everything was seasoned well. The food came out hot, the portions were generous, and the service was super respectful even though it got busy.
Overall, it was a great experience — I’d definitely go back.

A few friends and I were driving through town when we spotted a place on Google Maps, so we decided to check it out. When we arrived, we were seated right away at a table. The ambiance was super cute, featuring nice lighting and cool details on the walls. The bar looked really impressive, and the waitstaff and hostess were incredibly friendly and helpful.

We ordered fried mac and cheese, brisket, a Cobb salad, and a bowl of chili. Everything was bursting with flavor and delicious! One of my friends tried the sausage but said it lacked flavor.

I had an old-fashioned cocktail, and it was perfect—it even came with two cherries that were so tasty!
And to top it off we had the Carrot cake for two! Really tasty and delicious

We had the BBQ sampler for the three of us; it is designed to feed four, which it certainly was (plenty of leftovers, well, except for the brisket). And it was all delicious. The brisket melts in your mouth. The pulled pork and chicken went well with the two varieties of BBQ sauce. The two types of sausage were flavorful. I really liked jalapeño cornbread muffins.
