We were in Gainesville last weekend and wanted a local restaurant to get a steak. We made a reservation and headed over. They seated us immediately and our waitress was checking on us very quickly. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the sides were very flavorful. service was impeccable. Our drinks never ran dry and our waitress was very friendly. I would definitely go back.
The only downside is parking can be difficult so leave an extra 10-15 min to find a spot and walk to the restaurant.

Large outdoor seating area with couches, fireplaces, TV & music stage. They have a lot of indoor seating as well as a large party-sized room. The upstairs patio does not open until 4 PM so we did not get to see that, but they said there’s a bar and similar seating up there. The rum cake martini was amazing and very strong. The onion rings were great although I prefer regular ranch with it then the barbecue ranch. The fish and chips were good. It seemed to come with regular and sweet potato fries mixed. The menu said waffle fries so when we asked about it he said the waffle fries were not handmade (they are processed) so the ones we had are better. Free parking

Ehh. It was ok. The hostess and bartender were very nice. I ordered the brisket, andouille sausage, loaded mashed potatoes, and a beer. Took about 20-30 min to get around 1pm. The brisket was extremely dry, the cheese on the loaded mash was a solidified log also Luke warm and bland, the andouille sausage was delicious although it looked like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. The beer was good. Definitely wasn’t worth the $60 for me by myself to eat. Definitely a nice restaurant, but not going to be high on my list to revisit.

Me and a friend came in for lunch recently. I ordered the bacon Mac and Cheese Egg Rolls for us as an appetizer and I ordered myself their signature Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf. The egg rolls were yummy, I did not care for the BBQ ranch thay came with but still a good appetizer. I was very excited to try the Meatloaf and after taking a few bites I can see why it’s their signature dish. Delicious, but I wish the Meatloaf was cooked a little more as well as the bacon. Nothing was undercooked I want to make that very clear, just my personal preference. Our server was nice and the atmosphere was aswell but the prices here are high. I would say if you find yourself in the area come on in for a bite to eat, just be ready to spend some extra money

DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYTHING BUT GREAT REVIEWS!! We had dinner prior to The Charles Esten show 10/16/2025. Our waitress Jamie was absolutely wonderful food recommendations Whisky Recommendations, doggie bag for one happy Golden Retriever!! Then our waitress in the concert hall was just as wonderful but I didn’t get her name. I had brisket that was the absolute best, my husband had a turkey club that he bragged on, onion rings were also wonderful!! We give Bourbon Bros a 10/10 folks who say otherwise my guess nothing makes them happy anymore!! Oh if u don’t know Charles Esten may I suggested Nashville the TV series or Outer Banks on Netflix..

Came in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and it was very empty. Got seated immediately and our server was there promptly. We asked for water (tasted like mud) – don’t ask for water here unless it’s bottled! We ordered a pork chop with mash potatoes and a pulled pork sandwich with a side salad with balsamic dressing. The food: pork chop was overcooked and dry, the salad dressing was incredibly sweet and yes, I know balsamic can be sweet but this was 100% THE sweetest dressing I’ve ever tasted. The pulled pork sandwich was mediocre at best. The spicy BBQ sauce on the side was more sweet than spicy and I would definitely not recommend that. After finishing our meal we waited approximately 10min for a server to appear to be able to pay. There was nobody at the bar, no server on the floor so I found the hostess seated at the entrance and asked her for our bill. Based on my experience today I would not recommend BBS – food and service was not up to par.

Came for dinner on a Sunday at around 5:30. Place was not busy and we were seated right away. Our server, Jacob, came right over and took our drink order and gave several suggestions on food. I had the Brisket Philly with Waffle Fries and wife had Creamy Garlic Chicken. We also got the Chocolate Cake for two which was HUGE! All of the food was tasty and served hot. There was live music outside which you could also hear inside. They have a very large selection of whiskey and bourbon to choose from. They also are a full bar with good selection of wines and beers. Overall it was an enjoyable and tasty dinner and we will eat here again if in the area.

Very excellent. Solid vittles and service. Nothing fancy. Courteous folk and country music playing in a nice setting (comfortable booths). The hand breaded Buffalo chicken sandwich and pulled smoked chicken sliders were good along classic sides like onion rings, tater tots, and fried okra done right. Good drink menu. Recommended.

The water does taste like mud which was the best part of the meal. The brisket and ribs were so dry if you didn’t have mud water you would choke to death. The side salad was good, fries not so much unless you like cold chicklets. Great atmosphere, too bad the food sucks. They just need to find something they are good at. BBQ is not it.
