This place is hit or miss. I’ve had 5 really good experiences and 2 poor experiences.
I took my family to eat here 6/18/22. The tables were dirty. The employees need more training, the food takes a while to be cooked because the cook on staff cooked one entree at a time and has zero urgency. The steak in my steak bowl was burned, the chicken in my Son’s bowl was great and had a great flavor. The rice in both bowls were over cooked! The sushi my wife ordered had a funny taste. My son dropped his fork and it took sometime for the staff to come out so we could ask for another one. I could see staff members in the back on their phones or making jokes while we didn’t have a fork.
We paid $32 tonight and left the restaurant to get something from Chick-fil-A.

We ate here yesterday, on a Monday night. About 45 minutes from closing I placed our order. Typically I would just not order anything from a place closing within an hour. But we were too hungry to stick to that rule. Anyway, this place is a Diamond in the rough! Small place, in a decent plaza type atmosphere, no place to eat inside but don’t let that stop you from eating here. The food was FANTASTIC! We were both pleasantly surprised. The seasoning was perfect. The portions were just right! All and all we loved the food and will certainly be back!
Update – Could not resist coming back within a week to eat here again. Came in at a traditionally busy time this time. The food was still great!

10 out of 10 Best Japanese!!!!!! I’ve been a patron of the Lauren’s location since it’s opening, and I knew the quality was going to be great, giving I’ve ate at the Greenwood location prior. The food is always the same great quality and taste every time. The menu has a great selection for everyone in the family (even the picky ones). As for the staff super friendly and always have a smile on their faces, and are willing to answer any questions you have. I will always be a Boun’s costumer.

I got the teriyaki chicken bowl and two spring rolls for my first and possibly last visit. The chicken was dry and hard. The rolls gummy on the inside. The rice and vegetables were great. The sauces provided were delicious. I’ve never tased a yum yum sauce so heavenly. The wait for curbside was long. Mixed feelings about a next visit because of the super dry/hard chicken

I ordered a plate with chicken and steak with noodles and vegetables. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the steak was not seasoned but cooked nicely, just not flavor. The noodles and vegetables were very good and was happy with the veggies. I’m hoping this was just a one time experience and will be visiting again soon to try some more food.

My coworker and I ordered sushi from here on 8/2/21. THE SUSHI WAS HORRIBLEEEEEE! We ordered California rolls! The cutting off the sushi was uneven and crab meat was sticking all of the way out of it! There was more rice than crab meat, avocado, or cucumbers! It was absolutely disgusting! It tasted like a had a ball of bland rice in my mouth! They will never get my money again!

Ordered with door dash. Hibachi sent wrong order. Called them only to have them argue with my wife saying they know it was right since that hibachi lady personally made her food. What happened to customer’s always right? No, it’s their right and you’re wrong. There is never a manager around to fix anything when there is a problem. Second time this has happened!

Idk if it’s just a night shift thing or what but I ordered their steak and shrimp combo and some teriyaki wings with ranch using DoorDash and it was just awful. The steak and shrimp and the wings were burnt and I didn’t receive the shrimp sauce or ranch dressing that I paid for. And the pass two times I ordered from here I ordered a coke that I never received. I wouldn’t recommend them if you want what you paid for it’s ridiculous.

Ordered STEAK AND SHRIMP combination with noodles. Ad with most places, they are just fancied up spaghetti noodles. They sent out a STEAK, CHICKEN & SHRIMP plate which is what my husband ordered. The steak was ok, small portion of it (beef is spendy), the shrimp was good but the chicken? YUK!! And why are the meats in different sauces like that where the teriyaki os so salty and gross. It’s tought and almost like Jerry it’s so dry.. yet the STEAK and shrimp have a nice flavor? Ror the spring rolls. $3.75 for two TINY spring rolls which ARE in fact mushy as mentioned in a previous review as well as something you’d buy a box of 4 for at Walmart in the freezer aisle. I can’t believe people have taste buds that made them believe this is ‘the best’ hibachi or anything else food wise. I notice the owners respond by stating they reviewed cameras and now know someone didn’t order what they claimed due to watching said clip. Are they lip readers?
