I love this place! Gluten free food that’s exceptional. Fresh and light. Doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. The portions are also large. I’ll definitely be back. I had the fresh spring rolls, house soup and fried tofu.

Coworker recommended this place and it was totally worth it! We got chicken spring rolls, chicken dumplings, Lao papaya salad, and the grilled skirt steak. And there wasn’t a single thing that wasn’t delicious! We got a level medium for the papaya and it wasn’t too spicy at all. Very crunchy and yummy. They asked how we would like the steak cooked which was nice for a change. The dumplings were piping hot and delicious! The springs rolls were nice and fresh! The peanut sauce was a great balance between sweetness but still very peanut-y. Overall a great experience! It was a little warm indoors, but plenty of fans for circulation. They are a little heavy on the Christian music, but definitely not a deterrent for how good the food is! On top of everything, the staff were so attentive and friendly! Definitely recommend!

I forgot to add we got Thai coffee as well! And it was so scrumptious!

Amazing spot for fresh, flavorful food!

The staff are amazing, and said anything on the menu can be made vegetarian and vegan, which was a wonderful option!

The interior is really lovely, just as you enter there is a pond with lotus and taro plants, and the decor is bright and cozy.

I ordered the chive cakes, fired tofu, tofu salad rolls, and thai papaya salad. The flavors are balanced and clean.

The papaya salad is Excellent, the tiny crunchy shrimp and crushed peanuts on top are such a nice finishing touch. 12/10!
Chive cakescakes are also great, super flavorful, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. 10/10
Fried tofu is exactly what it sounds like- plain firm tofu, fried to perfection. 10/10
Salad rolls were also excellent, I was very happy to find some vegetarian rolls, 11/10.

Highly recommend this spot, and will be back the next chance I get!

Update Dec 2025:
Have now ordered to go several times and dined in three times, once with husband, once with kids, once with friends. We tried lots of things, and all loved our dishes; would recommend to anyone who loves Thai. The family who owns the restaurant is so sweet, and they are very generous in spirit and with their food. Still highly recommend and still find myself drooling about their pad thai and wanting to go again soon!

Original post, from 2024:
I ordered via delivery, so can only comment on the food. I ordered Pad Thai w chicken, mild spice, and the chicken spring rolls. FIRST of all, these are the best spring rolls I’ve had in years. I used to go to H Mart and get my own ingredients to make them because it was sooo hard to find good spring rolls w peanut sauce. BOTH of those are amazing here!!
Secondly, as a precursor: I am white af w rosacea, and cannot handle too much spice. The mild spice of the chicken pad thai was almost too much while it was freshly hot. After it cooled down, it was far tastier for me personally. It was absolutely delicious. The tamarind sauce was to die for. Chicken in it was just okay, not incredible.
Overall, give everything a 9/10 and would 10/10 visit again!!

To be fair, this is my first time trying viet-Lao pho, so i don’t have the experiences to fairly judge, but with that being said, if your craving traditional Vietnamese pho, this probably isn’t you’re place. To me, the beef pho resembles more of a ramen, in terms of noodles. The main positive was the meat was really good, and the best meat balls I’ve ever had in pho, not the thick chewy texture that’s typical. I saw a lot of other amazing dishes I wish I would got instead.

Also I thought it was really hella kewl that when you order you get your choice of an egg roll, spring roll, or soup. All be it small, it was still nice, and very good. But the dipping sauce tasted really sweet, which was good/different, but surprising when your expecting fish oil lolol

UPDATE: the beef fried rice is absolutely addictive and the price can’t be beat!!! Like before, the staff is super sweet. I absolutely love this place!

This is close to my work, so I thought I’d give it a try on my lunch break. I was pretty excited to see pho on their menu and that they provide a variety of spice alternatives. Their spring rolls were fresh and came with 3 instead of the expected 2. I will say, I did not care for the pho, BUT I think it’s just a ME problem. It was extremely flavorful, but was it a flavor I liked? Not so much. It didn’t taste like the pho I’m used to, and I think that’s my problem. Their curries look phenomenal, though, and I’ll be back to try those ASAP to update this review. Everything else was great. The service was nice, and so was the atmosphere, plus they have an interesting boba selection I’ll also be trying!

I’ve been coming here somewhat regularly for the past few years, never had a bad experience. Owners/servers are always kind and welcoming, food is always good, the place is nice and clean, usually not super busy. Some dishes I’d recommend are the yellow curry, nam kow tod, beef larb, and mango sticky rice, but anything you get here will be good.

I recently ate at Boun Thai Bistro and it was really nice. The place felt cozy and welcoming as soon as I walked in. The food was super tasty. I tried the beef pad and it had just the right mix of flavors – sweet, tangy, and a little bit savory, all at once and the mango sticky rice for dessert was delicious.

What made the meal even better was the staff. They were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and giving us some great suggestions from the menu.

Overall, Boun Thai Bistro is a great spot. The food is delicious, the vibe is chill, and the people are lovely. I’d definitely go back.

First off the staff are wonderful. They are INCREDIBLY attentive and kind.
The food is flavorful and you can choose your heat level which I love because all though I love hot food, some people don’t.
I got the shrimp pad Thai and WOW! So good!
I will definitely revisit this place and be coming back.

The food was so good! We got Pad Thai, Pho, Chicken fried rice, and Thai tea, and everything was so good. I will say that if you ask for very spicy, it is very spicy, did not disappoint! I did not eat in the restaurant but it is nice inside and the staff is super friendly.
