It’s Me
I have been to Blvd before when it was in its first location. At that time, I wasn’t super impressed with the food, but I loved the coffee. They have now moved beside Burney’s and I tried it this morning. I think they have either leveled up, or I just tried the wrong thing before. I ordered the Blvd Bypass without pimento and the Peeps Cold Brew. Both are absolutely amazing! The Bypass is on a Jalapeño Cheddar bagel, it has a REAL egg. Thank goodness it doesn’t have liquid eggs or some fake cardboard frozen egg. And as always, their coffee selection flavors are great. The peeps cold brew comes with a marshmallow flavored gummy on top (I got mine on the side so I could enjoy it before it sank to the bottom of the coffee and got all slimey). Anyways, everything had great flavor and the ladies behind the counter are very nice. Go enjoy!

came here for a birthday brunch. everyone was really sweet and helpful. not over-crowded. the açai bowl is SPECTACULAR. I had to get mine without granola due to celiac, but it was still really amazing. LARGE portions for decent prices. will definitely come back.

Very cute place and the workers were so kind. Only issue I had was I didn’t know they stopped serving eggs or any breakfast type foods at a certain time except avocado toast I guess. Maybe it should’ve been obvious to me or maybe I missed a signed that stated that but I didn’t see it. I was under the impression the menu that was up there was all day thing. They were also out of green tea 🙁 the tables and chairs were dirty. My chicken salad sandwich was ok, the cucumber salad was yummy. My son said his grilled cheese was ok.

Stopped in at this unassuming little spot for a classic BLT (on whole grain bread) and was not disappointed. Great balance and quality of ingredients, fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices. Very pleasant atmosphere and view, with plenty of seating inside and out. Was a little surprised that my dine-in order came in a to-go box, but it didn’t break the experience for me.

On a road trip through North Carolina, have had many iced coffees on this trip and this was the most bitter coffee I have had yet. Turned my stomach the second I took a sip and I love strong coffee. Dumped it.

Not that I have expected anyone to ever fill my reusable coffee cup all the way because it is a little bit bigger than a large coffee, but this has been the first ever place in probably 20+ visits that did not fill the cup out of pure kindness. Of course it was the place with bad coffee. Oh well. Never again

Update: the review below was for their old location down the street. The current spot does not have the same vibes and doesn’t have the great outdoor space as before so I took it down from 5 to 3 for atmosphere. They do have outdoor seating out front but it’s close to the street so not as great for kids. The coffee and food quality is the same, but the baked good are now from the bakery attached next door, FYI. We still enjoy it from time to time.

Definitely my favorite coffee shop. I’m in clayton a few times a week with my kids and they always ask to come here for cake pops. I love their monthly latte specials (especially anything with maple flavor) and the apple bottom waffle. My husband likes the breakfast sandwiches. The outdoor seating area is nice and it has an accessible entrance for my son who uses a wheelchair. I probably spend way too much money here but would rather support a local small business than Starbucks. 5 stars!

Great cafe! We visited after taking our dogs on a walk. It has an outdoor dog friendly area with picnic tables. My caramel macchiato was perfect. My wife had the cinnamon toast crunch special. She loved it.

Always had good food and service, I just wish they offered 2% milk for their coffee drinks. EDIT: they replied and said they do offer 2% milk! Very glad I was wrong and appreciate the reply!

Got a small Maple Pancake Latte hot and it was really good. Nice atmosphere and nice employees. I would definitely go back. Went back and got a seasonal Peppermint Bark Latte and Peach Smoothie. Both were really good.
