There’s a few tables inside the seafood market.
They close early – 8 pm. We thought we were late arriving at 7:40 pm, but they sat people until 8:30.
The chowder was delicious – very chunky.
The lobster roll was buttery and delightful.
We went for the whole belly fried clams and were not disappointed.
The owner/manager was very gracious to a couple of traveling Texans visiting for my birthday.
We had a really nice time.

Updated: I went again, August 30, 2025. Still great! Excellent and fast service. Not cheap, but good. Serving sized were average. I liked that they had corn on the cob. Clam stops were good. A nice surprise. From the outside, it does not look like it’s an eat-in restaurant, a pleasant surprise. Staff was wonderful, at 7:00 on a Friday night we got a table when we walked in. Fries were great!

My family went here last night for dinner. Very family friendly and on the casual side for those nights off you just need great food with large portions for your family. I’m assuming they source their fish locally because it was super fresh.
We all got something different. We shared the lobster roll and it was the best I’ve ever had, all claw and tail. The brother got the premium crab cakes and they said it’s a family recipe I’ve never seen a crab cake like this before and I’ve had my fair share, again this was all meat with almost absolutely no filler.

This is a wonderful go-to place for fresh seafood and BYOB restaurant dining. Our party of five was greeted quickly and immediately seated. Brittany, our server, was warm and friendly. She was spot-on with her service, suggestions, small talk, and attention to our table. We all enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. I highly recommend this LBI staple for quaint, cozy, and quality dining.

I was really looking forward to eating at this place and my expectations were certainly met, perhaps even exceeded.
The place is kind of small, with a section for sitting in and one for just purchasing for take out. However, the decor and general vibes of the place really pull through, helping to create a great atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious, and I can’t stress that enough. I ordered the fried seafood combination, which came with fries and a side. It was extremely filling and extremely tasty, definitely ranking high on the quality tier. Everything just tasted so fresh and was cooked so well. Additionally, another person in my party ordered the Ipswich full belly clams, and they were just so good. They were clean, fresh and cooked so perfectly, I really can’t compare it to anything else.
Also, the service was just top notch. Our waitress was extremely friendly, and was helpful in ordering and everything else. Our cups were never empty and our table was never cluttered. The service was way better than most places, which contributed to a great dining experience.
Overall, with a nice atmosphere, delicious food and outstanding service, Boulevard Clams sticks in my mind as an extremely great place that I definitely recommend to anybody. I will most definitely be back the next opportunity that I have.

The place was as expected, I like simple restaurants. Nothing fancy. I went for the whole belly clams and I got them. The food was good. My disappointment came from the portions and the prices. Too expensive for the quantities (over $27 for the whole belly). The side dishes for example were teeny tiny. The coleslaw, and potato salad were served in nothing but condiment cups. Half a corn on the cob was another side and a small plate of French fries was another. The service was pleasant. My daughter liked her crab cakes. Overall a good dining experience. Fresh seafood. Nice service

Passed this place a million times and happened to walk in this LDW looking for a lobster roll. Great looking fish market with a few tables tucked in the back. The lobster roll my husband and I agreed was among the best we’ve ever had. Service was extremely fast. We can’t wait to come back and explore the menu more!

Went for lunch. Girlfriend got a burger which was pretty average, but that’s not why people go there! This was for sure in the top 5 lobster rolls of my life. Perfectly cooked, fresh, buttery, succulent lobster. Price was reasonable and what you should expect for a lobster roll. We also got an order of calamari, which was also perfectly prepared, and so delicious. The ambiance was very cute with the reggae music and beachy vibes. The staff was so friendly. I honestly can’t wait to go again next year.

Loved this place, should’ve gone back. One of the best lobster rolls we’ve ever had, warm, buttery and just stuffed with lobster. We were craving fried clams so ordered without asking what the market price was. Mistake! Check came and the price was $39!! Had to laugh so we wouldn’t cry. Waitress was a sweetheart, all the folks here seemed nice.

We usually drive right past Boulevard Clams because they don’t have a restaurant but this year given the pandemic, we gave curbside pickup a try and were immediately sold. I got the lobster roll which was fantastic and they give such large portions! The roll was so good that we went back the next two nights after. Other members of my group got the shrimp and scallops scampi and the crab cake sandwich which were both tasty but by the third night, we all got lobster rolls. We will definitely be going back!
