Best chicken shawarma pita sandwich I have EVER had. Soooo good. And their grape leaves are so big, and equally as delicious.

Absolutely my favorite spot for a salad!
The ingredients are always incredibly fresh, and the portions are generous especially the chicken, which they pile on (just how I like it!). I come here often and gladly make the drive every time because it’s that good. Consistently delicious, and totally worth it.

My husband and I have been doing takeout for our Sunday dinners from this place for over three years. Sometimes we even order it twice a week. The quality has NEVER changed. They are so consistent with the food portion size, flavor, and price. It’s something that’s hard to find at other places. And you’re always greeted with a friendly smile. I can’t believe it took me this long to write a review — and I’m doing so as we enjoy a family platter from their menu. Thank you for such great food and service!

Of all the middle eastern places within a few miles of downtown Royal Oak, this place is the best and has been for several years. Carry out only. Try a half dozen of the fresh baked bread, they are piping hot little pockets of awesomeness.

Freakin shawarma mountain!!! Meat and veggies were excellent. Salad was a bit lacking but I don’t come here for their salads… I couldn’t give the atmosphere five stars because you can’t dine inside but not the end of the world. Employees were very friendly and timely.

Great food. Ask for the kibbeh spicy with fresh jalapeño on the side if you enjoy heat. Each element of the vegetarian platter was tasty. I especially enjoyed the grape leaves.

I love this place. Been a customer for years and now that I live close by I order from here almost once a week. My favorite is the Greek Salad with Lamb shank. The food is always proportioned very generously, consistently delicious and worth every penny.
Thank you Boukies Grill for always being great.

Was not impressed with my Chicken Gallabah dinner. Lebanese/Mediterranean food is my favorite food and I have tried tons of different restaurants around. My pre req requirements are Bread and Toum need to be included with my meal. It comes off as cheap if the restaurant charges separately for toum/bread with the meal. Second, the bread needs to be freshly cooked, if it’s plain cold pita bread. That’s insanely cheap on the restaurants part.
The bread was standard cold pita bread in a baggy, and I received 0 toum with my meal. Toum should always be included with a dinner. The saving grace was the actual meal was okay, the flavor was decent but still tasted rather bland. Long story short I wasn’t impressed. For a restaurant on Main Street in royal oak, I expected more.
With La Feast closing down the street. No one did it better than La Feast. And unfortunately that’s still the case because Boukies’s did not impress me.

I have been eating Boukie’s for 2 years now on a regular basis, and I never had one meal that I did not love! The service is excellent, the food is super fresh and delicious, and I would love to know how they get their chicken schwarma to be juicy and crispy all in one perfect little bite. Best mediterranean in Royal Oak, in my opinion!
