Very disappointed. We ordered the special appetizers (Arancini App), which seemed promising based on the description. However, once we received them, we were let down because they lacked flavor. They were very tasteless, along with the creole sauce.

My mother ordered the shrimp and grits. The grits were very gritty and cold, and there was an unexplainable foul taste to them. She couldn’t even eat a full finish one bite.

I ordered this Chicken Carbonara with bourbon chicken. Where do you even begin?!? The plate looked unappealing when placed in front of me. The noodles looked dry and old yet there was broth on the plate. Which was very confusing. The taste of the noodles were sour and left a bad aftertaste. I literally had 2 noodles and that was enough for me.

My daughter ordered three chicken tenders, which were the best dish on the table. She ate them, and I took a bite of hers and realized it tasted like fish. It seems they use the same oil for all their fried items.

Not to mention, the cornbread was so dry and brick like.

We were given a credit for a meal, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning. I should have realized this wasn’t a good place to eat because it was empty on a Saturday evening at 6 p.m.

The food here was absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was just as great. I’m already thinking about what I want to try next time — can’t wait to come back soon!

Very welcoming and beautiful establishment. Started to believe that I couldn’t handle Cajun food, however, this place changed my mind. It was good and not to spicy for my pallet. I definitely recommend you try it when you’re in the Noda area!

No. Just no. My friend and I went for brunch. I had the breakfast burrito and grits. We were literally the first customer and eventually one of three tables. The food came out out more cold than lukewarm. How? The burrito was flavorless and dry. I maybe ate a third of my food and couldn’t go further. The grits were cold and the sausage gravy was flavorless and not…just no. Our server was pleasant and affable, but could not save the food that was served. I left disappointed and dissatisfied. I’m so sorry to appear harsh and maybe I caught them on an off morning, but I had high hopes, but was let down

I’m from NJ and I came down for a weekend trip. All I can say The Food is absolutely amazing and the service is great. I’d definitely recommend The Chef’s Pasta.

I really tried to give this place a fair chance, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The Gator Bites appetizer was the only highlight—it was decent. However, the She Crab Soup was extremely disappointing, the Jambalaya was overwhelmed with tomato sauce, and the cornbread was very dry. I genuinely tried to get through my meal, but it just wasn’t for me.

Initially, I decided not to leave a review because I didn’t want to be negative. But as the rest of the food arrived and I tasted my entrée, I felt it was important to share my experience so others can take it into consideration.

Our first time trying Jambalaya and Gumbo and it wasn’t a good one. It was so bland and the cornbread was so dry it could rival a Popeyes biscuit. The beignets were tough and overcooked, even with the mound of powdered sugar on top. Overall, just disappointed. The one star is for the mango-pineapple mojito, which was decent.

We were excited to visit. We had a party of 10 and Boudreaux’s accommodated us very well. For a first-time visit, however, it was disappointing. First off, there was one server covering ALL the dining areas. He was great, and it wasn’t his fault that service was delayed. We tipped him 20 percent, and he continuously apologized, and we all understood his dilemma.

All of us were more or less disappointed with our food. To be specific, I ordered the gator po’ boy. For 17 dollars, I barely got any gator meat and feel like I paid for bread. I also ordered the she crab soup. While it was delicious, the crab was scarce. My daughters rice was undercooked. My son ordered the crayfish po’boy and was disappointed in the lack of meat.

The ambiance was nice, the location is great and the atmosphere is fine. There is ample parking in the deck behind the restaurant.
Overpriced for the amount of food.

I’ve visited Boudreaux’s for both lunch (to include a couple of Sunday brunch’s) and dinner and I have not been disappointed. The Sunday brunch Bloody Mary bar is fantastic and less than $5 on Sundays. A couple of those and a hefty Cajun meal and it’s nap time.

I have tried several things on the menu and a few of my go to favorites are the Jambalaya and Shrimp & Grits. Both flavorful and filling dishes and just the right amount of spice.

Service can be a bit slow but I have never been in a rush so I didn’t mind.

We were able to get a nice table right away at 6:30pm. Our waiter was very friendly and gave us just the right amount of time to decide our appetizer and entrees. I knew from the aroma in the restaurant that our food would be delicious. As you can see, we were very pleased!
The crab & corn hush puppies were phenomenal and the dipping sauce – delicious
The étouffée had just enough spice to make me feel it and truly enjoy the flavor – delicious
The jambalaya had a smooth creole tomato base sauce – delicious
The gumbo yaya was very hearty and really hit the spot, once again – delicious
I absolutely recommend Boudreaux’s Louisiana Kitchen!
