Stopped in today to grab some lunch. Second visit to the shack since they opened, and I find the experience has gotten better. First visit was early on and they were still working out the kinks. Today the staff was on point, completely professional and very friendly. The catfish nuggets were well seasoned with the right amount of crunch. Boudin egg rolls were a little over fried but content was delicious. Plain boudin was my favorite with good seasoning and no heat. Crawfish boudin was tasty but a little underseasoned for my tastes. Definitely will visit again, check them out if you’re on Nicholson near Gardere.

I stopped here last week Thursday and got some chicken crackling. The flavor was delicious, but by 11am I was so sick. I had a sour stomach and was so nauseous the whole day. This was all I had eaten, and hadn’t had anything the day before so I know it was the crackling. I don’t think I will be eating here again. My daughter had the crawfish boudin and she said it was not good she had had better elsewhere.

I absolutely love this place for the pepper jack boudin balls!! My coworker loves the chicken skins. The service is always friendly and food always good. I’ll go out my way to get the boudin balls from this establishment the boudin egg rolls are good too!!

You HAVE to try this place if you haven’t already! This is what Baton Rouge needed; another business that offers great BOUDIN! This place, by far, tops all others that I have visited. Excellent customer service, great selection of hot items and meats to take home. I ordered the Boundin Biscuit and I was hooked! The Boudin is D-Li-Cious!!!!! Check back for new items…They are always coming up with another great idea! I Love This Place!

These were the best cracklins that I have ever had and the service was Awesome.

Made a Boudin run in Baton Rouge. I’m picky about my boudin. I’m from Pointe Coupee and we dont play about our food. I was near LSU so I went to the Boudin Shack as was recommended. ❤️ the gas station combo. Cute decor. Friendly service. It was hot they are fixing the a/c.
Paid $12 for 2 balls and a link.
The balls had a chicken batter like crust which was good just not my preference, but delicious. The boudin link was really good.
